    Strong bridge

 the camper wont fit.....................now it does
  2. Just ordered - and cheaper than it was a few months ago when first tried. Interestingly, they wont ship the sharpener but acording to reports above it is shite anyway Lets see how long it takes to arrive.
  3. Guide price is not what it will actually sell for, unless there is a good reason for the low price of course.
  4. used a pair of welders gauntlets for bramble etc, no problems and cheaper
  5. drink enough cider and you dont need to worry
  6. um... got to put the pedants hat on here - think that should be deckhead GK
  7. does the warranty transfer across the pond??
  8. Andy, good to hear this approach has been mentioned, just hope the government don't start playing politics with it all as they are wont to do. Fixus politicus has generally proven to be far more damaging than any natural threat.
  9. interesting stuff that last link, but not quite as dramatic or direct as the bloke on here who favoured being 'burped' out of a chipper into a wood when he kicked the bucket
  10. yup, same here - really black and some really impressive lightning last night - best bonfire display ever, albeit a short display.
  11. Yes Tony, good article 'If the fungus does not adapt, it will kill its hosts and so die out itself.' It will just take some time for the balance to be reached where both the trees and fungus live in harmony. The trees will struggle initially until they have learned to cope with the new kid on the block.
  12. what more can you say - excellent pictures
  13. Have the Dewalt 18v drill/driver & impact driver - as per Rob-D above top bits of kit when building our house and still going strong. Makita is good too. Both pricy, but last you a good while.
  14. must have been a dick.....d
  15. ciders in, but no clearer on the issues. Best wait till the morning. clever stuff I'm sure
  16. awesome only problem is its sucked a few to many molecules out the brain so got to go top up on some cider to try and clarify the issue
  17. thanks Spud Not too worried about the size as I am quite big as well and got a few things it will be useful on. Not sure what he wants for it, but it will be cheap. (ps still interested in a 346/260/?? regardless of above)
  18. liked the crossbow and fishing reel throwline deployment. Been a few threads on here with people asking for good ideas and that seemed to work well
  19. Perfect day then - nip indoors in the dry after a good days work in the dry
  20. Got a new moisture meter and couldn't help yourself Kev  Interesting - have got a bit of what I think was robinia in my pile - tree been down a couple of years and been stacked since and still seems quite wet, but dont have a meter to check.
  21. Had an offer of a stihl 038 from my neighbour - just wondering if the assembled experts could advise on what to look out for as well as general comments on this saw. About 15 years old and been looked after and had regular if intermittent use.

    VW Pickup?

and which engine? Transporter T4 & T5 up to 2010 had various engine sizes Since 2010 all engines 2 ltr, but outputs ranging from 84 to 180 hp
  23. same here, but did have it for the last few days on the old forum as well - presumed to be part of the teething troubles??
  24. spot on Rich Anybody that knows me and still feels like giving us a prezzie know to give something interesting food wise Normally got a few treats to keep me going well into the new year
  25. Not a fan here either - one big money making scam. Only white on xmas should be the beach sand Family local to us who just skip out on the whole thing by putting their money towards a holiday on the beach somewhere warm. Seems the most sensible idea - come back when the madness has receeded Lets face it, it is more for children, but the way they get deluged with plastic tat is ruining it for them - they are very excited to start with, but soon loose interest when the toys fall apart after 5 minutes and they go back to their old favourites. Yes I have tried to explain that to the the wife and her mum The only thing I like is trying out some different foods. bah humbug
