  4. my chipper is 1800kg. i have only carried it once on my 6400 with roofmount. lifts it no problem but a bit giddy on the road. 6cylinder would be steadier but along with crane and mounting brackets etc its a lot of weight on the back axle
  5. any idea how much trailer would be without crane ?
  6. 141 is a 12inch chipper. 12x14 opening. 240 is 10 inch. 10x12 opening
  7. should be good, i,ve got a240 built for crane feed. very good chipper , quite heavy to carry as feed hopper really well built so extra weight far back. a141 would be awesome if your tractor is heavy enough
  8. friend of mine has intermechanto shear head on 2.8 ton kobuta, from m large i think
  9. i did base machine\forwarder trailer assessment 2 weeks ago. questions are all in the assessment schedule ,assessor was very practical and no problem with answers in my own words. i noticed in schedule, grab is supposed to fully enclose logs, had to remind myself a bit, takes a good bit longer to unload. also remove keys when leaving machine.

  21. 48. climb 3 or 4 days a week. started climbing at 30. 10 years on chainsaw before that. hard to do 5 full days in a row but no problem keeping up with younger lads. i think you need all ground tickets and loads of saw time before getting into climbing.
