1. lots of people tow mini diggers with transits over here. i find my tranny tipper much more stable towing heavy trailers than my jeep and not nearly as bumpy.can travel 10mph faster with tranny
2.

o toole engineering (inverin, co galway) bobby 087 2252007 or 00353 87 2252007 from outside r o ireland. very sound fella.

where are you from?

3. have been there, done that and bought t shirt with entec. very effective chipper but even if minded like a baby will do in a blower fin or a bearing in the middle of a job at the drop of a hat. buy something newer, new even if you have the work
4. most fittings standard and not too expensive. not worth swopping off other machines imo, saving on fittings would be more than offset by time/oil loss etc each time you swop over
5. i,ve been wondering the some thing. the guy who does some of my repairs builds powerpacks, mostly for marine use. i recently asked him for a quote for one to run my 15ton when my tractor is away. he quoted 700euro for petrol or 1k for diesel. i am taking one on trial next chance i get, will post how it runs
6. sherrif beaufort t justice ?

this year worst ever!
8. theres a nice looking 2010 qn arbtrader, not sure where yet
9. bought chipper off them last jan, found them very good. chipper was if anything better than described and had been well checked over. flew over and back same day and chipper was delivered a week later. would buy of them again
10. fair point. my fellas were breaking them on 260,s .stopped happening when they bought their own saws
11. not having a dig or anything but i find younger and recently trained lads very severe on brake bands and clutches from hitting the chain brake every other minute with the chain still at full speed
12. have an 05 lwb 130hp .had it 3 years, 1st year loads of probs, cost e3k in repairs. been fine since and good on fuel. parts very expensive, think will go transit next time
13. have the bits ready to weld up but cant seem to find the time. going to use bigger wheels
14. i find mine tightens while working and can be hard to loosen. a while back it started drifting a bit while chipping into truck no matter how much i would tighten it. cured it by welding a series of dots on the flange. never moves now and not hard to open
15. i have a 681, 80cc professional. very well built similar to stihl really. i would say their semi pro saws would be as good any of the big names equivilent
16. tractor/loader for me.does every thing you mention + pulls track chipper or mini digger. is 40k.groundy will usually follow me to job in tractor and arrive maybe half hour after by which time i.ll have signs up and paperwork ready. i live in a hilly area and find i am saving a lot of wear and tear on my tranny and hilux by using tractor for the heavier towing, great to have winch and loader on site, saves loads of time. also tractor can get into tighter spaces and more versatile for farm work and hence more saleable when you want to upgrade. having said all that would love to own a mog.
17. i find sycamore hardest on eyes
18. anyone know how much without grab and rotator approx
19. over here they are selling those with 'sthil' badges on them. when i queried the different spelling, very polite traveller enlightened me; special edition boss, just in from china!
