  1. will be keeping an eye on ads over here and watching out for* arborists from a certain ethnic minority *with fresh greenmech
  2. tyres on my tw 190 need replacing. was wondering if its possible to fit slightly wider and or slightly higher profile without catching the mudguards. a friend of mine did this on his bearcat and it made it noticebly easier to tow off-road. has anyone tried this? thanks ;sean
  3. to eat healthier,make lunch the night before and stop wasting cash at deli counters, oh and drink less coffee and more water.will start tuesday.

  7. my 3ton runs 15ton great. faster than tractor . i find the oil gets very hot though. was thinking of fitting an oil cooler to the return pipe. anybody else find that oil gets very hot.
  8. parweld 161 dv (inverter) for light repairs etc . mase 250 welder generator for heavier work and on- site work
  9. we did a 2 day refresher a few years ago. instructor was very practical. all found it worthwhile.

  11. welcome grandad:thumbup1:felt abit younger on reading your first posts, till i did the maths. 58 -17 =4years younger than me. will be good to hear your views on stuff.
  12. shelved out a transit 2yrs ago. worked well but petrol fumes sometimes noticeable .i would suggest airtight bulkhead and ventilation for storage section
  13. i get most of my domestic work through yellow pages (golden pages over here). i think older generation still refer to it and most mature trees are owned by over 50s. expensive but does the job
  14. we run a jensen A240 with crane fed feed funnel. mostly used for brash and whole conifers. works great off fiat f140. thinking of changing for engine driven
  15. love cutting them down and then grinding the stumps. like they never existed
  16. i am halfway through cutting one 35foot wide 35foot high 160m long. day seems very long !

  19. once broke a 30 inch chain while cross cutting a big sycamore (hit nail). end somehow flung back around and hit knuckle of my right thumb.
  20. do you mind me asking how long are you having to wait? from an objective point of view, maybe the guy is genuinely having a tough time of it. things are much different to five years ago. anyone can go through a rough spell with cashflow.
