    Looking at the picture something untoward has happened to the top roller which is probably your first point of interest.

    TBH they are all powerful professional saws, you won't go wrong with any of them. Take your pick, none of them will disappoint.

    Plus the branches break easy and drop flat rather than hanging on like spruce. Light, easy to chip, always planted too close to houses, love 'em!

    I've always used a blade on a strimmer, but taken off the guard (use good eye protection) Start at the top and work down in sweeps till you reach the ground.

    I think Tony is referring to the taxpayers ie."us" bailout of certain banks without "our" consent. Not exactly the same but I think he sort of has a point.

    Yes for most climbing jobs but I would have thrown it out of the tree by the time I get down to the stick. If I think the descent might be dodgy I'll throw the flipline round aswell. I sometimes don't bother with it on a small dismantle. (the CS I mean)

    Well why did he fall? Did the rope slip off the peg. If I am leaving a stick up to be felled, I'll descend on a peg, or cut a upside down gob and come down on that. If it's done right where's the problem?

    Ok, I think I am beginning to understand what people mean, It has a periodic "bogginess" when it seems to run rich and not pull throught the wood well, take it out rev it a bit, put it back in and it's fine. That strikes me as a carb problem as opposed to a serious fault.

    Totally agree, there's not too much new really. As a climber I can be a "shouter" but I also don't mind being told where to go by an angry groundy who's trying his hardest. This is not a job for sensitive souls. The climber sets the rhythm of the job. An experienced one can avoid overloading the ground crew. Agree with the OP by the way

    Anyone else dread these unfunny dregs clogging up our Friday night with their self promoting "charridy" horse manure? Last night there was some bloody Spice Girl going down an African river to highlight poverty! Why not give them all the money you received for singing your awful songs? then you can have some of ours!

    Laughable nonsense Ty, of course I work for the French, (there are a lot of them in this country) I just don't need to boast about it, or indeed boast whenever I complete a full day and make a few quid! Everyone pays the same. It's a mystery to me why you consider yourself to be the authority on all things French, as if you are the only bloke to start a small business here, I recall you are in a partnership, your mate is evidently the brains of the operation If you find that you have to drop your prices by a third to cater for an ethnic minority which consist of around 2% of your population, why work for them? If you are doing this, and, judging by many of your posts, you and the truth are not closely aquaninted, you're a mug.

    Ty I've seen you say this sort of thing before. How can you say you charge the Brits around 60% of what you charge the French? Explain please.
