  1. Couldn't resist. Just asked who is in the photo.
  2. Thats what I didn't get. Not your average Hollywood intimidator, maybe the photo shows hes out there looking. Maybe when he chucks the last bit of his bacon buttie down, its showtime. Thats the bit that makes your hairs stand on end.
  3. Im £45 a builders bag. £90 for 2 which is over a cube loose filled.
  4. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bryce-Fence-Post-Rammer-Driver-Knocker-wacker-thumper-machine-No-VAT-/151138097642?pt=UK_BOI_FarmingEquipment_RL&hash=item23308859eaTrawling ebay and come across this post knocker. In the info it says mog for sale as well. Just a heads up if anybody wants a toy(and can afford one)
  5. Dont think this will be long on ebay. He's wants his toys back. Probably to use on the thieves:angry: STIHL MS880 CHAINSAW,STIHL HT75 POLE SAW, STOLEN FROM MID SOMERSET,£500 REWARD | eBay
  6. I use an old bar that the sprocket colapsed on. Just chop both ends off, round the top corners off so it doesn't snag.
  7. Poplus candicans aurora
  8. We set up an account 8 years ago in NZ. Its currently dormant, but when we go again it is easy to do. NZ banks charge monthly fees if not dormant. Leave your money in uk bank and transfer when over there. We have had no probs with national bank, they are now joined with ANZ. PM if you want. We are going in December.
  9. I did buy a xpg a couple of months ago for £200 off ebay. If you are after ebay current values. Type in 357xpg select the power tools catagory, then when that has loaded up scroll down the left side auction buy it now etc. Clicked completed listings, items that sold are in green and unsold in red. Then do same again with 357xp. I find the xpg search works better.
  10. Have a look on Donaldson filter website. I used it a while ago and it took a while but I figured all my filter needs from OEM info
  11. He has been there before....... 20 posts later its full english breakfast just to start the day.
  12. I do both, they complement each other, share equipment and as said one leads to the other.
  13. It would be a lot less hassle just to hire in as you need. Use a skip etc. HGV and O licence a big expense which some who do it full time are struggling with alongside other things of course. Last I understood just keep your gross weight under 7.5 ton
  14. "I am a robot, I am a robot" Just doing his masters command. I remember taking 3 green cans and after the 2nd was full they shut pump down. That was tescos.
  15. Do it at a quiet time. Sounds like a bonsai job. Park your motor on the road where it may fall that should encourage you to get it right! Joking aside I wouldn't want to bother with all the legal and regs for such a small tree. If you think you cant guarantee success, pass job on.
  16. Nag and make you feel bad as you go about your outlaw activities. Good thing is after a while you dont care anymore and shrug it off. Just like those of ill repute that get frequent mentions in the Somebody has nicked my......... threads. And it works, the law can no longer affect you. Ignoring NPTC is the path to the dark side.
  17. That sounds like a fairer rate, assuming your date rate isnt huge.
  18. I will manicure it off with files from the toolbox when my back allows me to reach:biggrin:
  19. Its the monoply they assume, Microsoft did it, Apple where the underdog. I bought a macbook in 2005 which Im typing on now, breath of fresh air good reliable kit. Now they overcharge for their goods. We the consumer dont like being taken advantage of. Thankfully Im not inclined to have the latest gadget so it doesnt affect me. Look at the value of a huge saw at less than £2000 precision engineered. compared to an electronic device made of mass produced cheap components that costs the same.
  20. It depends on the whole tree what you do with it. If its a safety issue, kids playing near it etc. It might need to come down. You only show the hole part of the tree. I would imagine being part dead means it has decay, insects have burrowed into it and the woodpecker has attacked the insects. It seems the trunk is rotten/hollowed out. The tree could live for years growing thicker and maintaining its structural strength, but being a cherry it could be suffering one of the diseases they seem to be getting these days, and on its way out. You could remove the dead and balance it out weight wise in the top or skin it up to a totem pole for wildlife habitat. I offer these suggestions which may be invalid if you show us a photo of the tree or diseased part. Have a look under cherry in the search bar to look at the threasds on diseases.
  21. Ditto you can't pigeon hole an irritant.
  22. I reckon by yours and the picture in your avatar, you are 25....... at heart.
  23. I was engrossed in this video, meanwhile whilst I was enjoying arbtalk, my lovely wife was feeling sorry for me after two days of conifer bashing, massaging my feet. Just like the dude in the video I was not paying attention. Sorry about the picture quality. photobooth on the macbook is all I have. This time its a nice glitter finish. Last time it was just silver. Moral of the story, whether you are using a saw or just relaxing at home. Stay alert at ALL TIMES!
  24. That was what I was aiming for, but I am of the older generation that gets irritated by the repetition of LOL All my grandparents have gone. They would of shaken their heads in dismay at the lack of proper english usage, even though they spoke broad Yorkshire, which we now have to buy dialect books to work it out.
  25. ANSWER:- 3 classes a year and fantastic long holidays. I reckon.
