  1. Give us a clue? For example I have a jd6620 125hp 4wd but it's near hull. Is it big enough. Do you need air brakes? 3 point linkage.Etc Won't nick your job. Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk

  3. When things don't cooperate, children, adults or animals. I find a dose of cold water helps. No physical contact but a good shock and wet inconvenience. Probably classed as assault. I'm not all for the territorial landowner with instant anger and loud profanities. Nor am I for the ignorant tramping over other people's property. Somewhere in the middle such as asking permission I reckon. I do fencing for people, often to keep dog walkers off private land. Yet they damage the gates or fence or punch through the hedge further along. My wife summed up an instance a couple of years ago. We was working on an estate which kindly let someone plant a memorial oak and scatter ashes. Relatives parked up and come through asking why we where installing fence and gate. We mentioned dog egg problem. They had pathetic fluffy toy dog with them. Went to memorial, came back so far with doggy bag. By they got to us said bag obviously vanished in the collection suspended decorating the spruces. My wife said " I'd like to go and hang it on the oak tree" Doesn't sound nice, but you have to make it about them to get the message home, people are so self centered. I've never understood the logic of many dog owners. Why have an animal you think you need to take out in all weathers if your premises aren't big enough or it doesn't get its exercise in the working day. You don't keep a cow in a small back garden then take it for walkies. As for horses and hunt, just throw the rule book out. It doesn't apply to the mob! Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
  4. Or a sling\strop yank it out the way. Sent from my LG-K100 using Arbtalk mobile app
  5. I've found chopping wood at source is a big time saver. No real tidying up and reduces multiple handling. With the fiskars they don't handle misses very well. If chopping on concrete lay a plywood sheet down for protecting cutting edge.logs wobble or glance sideways from time to time. My Oregon sawhorse like most is kaput. It has paid for itself many times over in time and back saving. Make one similar Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
  6. Have you tried searching the forum im sure Rob D put a link up. Thats how i got mine. Try winch and alaskan in search Sent from my LG-K100 using Arbtalk mobile app

  9. Our iPad crashes every time I try to use a video link. Then it offers to send a report to tapatalk which in turn gets sent back undelivered. I'll just use it from browser for now Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
  10. Eye of a needle job. You must get it on your self. The neck of the bottle. The pleasant thing about having a poo is the simple ness of it. That would stress me out. A favourite trucker moment was a discreet colleague of my dads climbed into his private cubicle. (Tipper) dropped overalls, dumped his deposit, Yanked overalls back up and clapped himself in the neck with his turd. He's not the only that's done it apparently . Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
  11. There is miles of it trimmed like this roadside round orchards and fruit growers. Never heard of a nut coming away followed by blade. It must of happened. Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
  12. Or cage a couple of beavers on it. Leave them for a week. Animal rights probably get upset about it though. There will be a domesticable insect or mammal that would oblige. Followed by fungus. Environment versus instance impact will often be different in timescale. I hoe my garden. It takes time. Sent from my LG-K100 using Arbtalk mobile app

  15. Fart powered stump grinding . I am pleased to see the like minded attitude about litter on here. For years at the nursery when we dumped prunings etc back on the land. Why o why couldnt anyone grasp a plastic bottle or old gloves are an eyesore on a field? Though its now illegal i dont have an issue with banana skins apple cores roadside. I take all my rubbish home at end of the day. It came in the lunchbox. Then back to the kitchen where the waste facilities are handy. Sent from my LG-K100 using Arbtalk mobile app
  16. Id go for 300kg upwards each depending on density and moisture. Could be 500kg Sent from my LG-K100 using Arbtalk mobile app
  17. Very sad. Im always analyzing potential accidents its kind of a negative nature i have to see beyond the current situation and see long term. When we are fencing i always have better peace of mind when the old fence is removed and not left to be overgrown by a hedge. I dont like to leave a staple behind, i think of animals feet and grazers mouths. Yet economy practices thrive. Fences are left potentially to damage humans and machines. Selfish idiots chuck litter roadside to become shredded sharp objects and missiles when the verges are trimmed. Then those who drive or walk along oblivous to the noise, carnage. Im astounded we dont have more flail related injurys. What other kit of this kind gets the proximity it does. This incident is very sad for all parties. But how many folk will revise their practices? 21. Same here. I respect the guys above. But a bucket is an antiquated method of moving water. On tap is the superseeded way. Ive never used photobucket. But harddrives and such are so cheap. Im sure some whizz will have a way to tip the bucket in to a drive. Apple and the like are always greedy and manipulative with such services. It pee'd me off when id used iphoto to album all my photos, then they ditched it with an os upgrade and scrambled the lot to a set up they thought was best. It pays to be unreliant ive learnt. 22. Thing is im pacing myself and acknowledging my current limitations. But its working like falling off a skateboard backwards. I did the mowing with the tractir for a steady job. Sent from my LG-K100 using Arbtalk mobile app
  23. I never thought much about it earlier. I didnt mean to be insensitive in my comment. Ive got used to my brother loosing fingers neatly and no pain. But yes its inconvenient and can be horrendous if its not taken off right. I know its better to take them clean off than try to rebuild in many cases. Its also suprising how many digits are missing. Im the first to admit i should of lost a few bits. Keep going. Lifes no fun waiting for it to happen. Sent from my LG-K100 using Arbtalk mobile app
  24. I'm over it then. Had a virus last Sunday until now as well. All my mistakes I really think are down to the poor risk evaluation mental performance, I know my limits and operate in them normally, some think I'm a risk taker as I do things they wouldn't. I'm even planning jobs daft. Hopefully shift this gunk in my sinuses, get more oxygen to the brain and more sleep. I am fortunate to be intact this week. My wife saw the tree incident and couldn't believe I walked away from it. Then she was also there today when the rail pinged me and took me to hospital. Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
  25. You still have more length in fingers on that hand than i do with all my fingers 😁 Yes im currently lacking sleep in the last month. Symptoms are. Last friday i misjudged tension of an ash laid on the floor. Ended up doing a backwards superman about 8feet with saw in hands. Jarred neck. No real damage. Yesterday this Today i was installing metal park railings on a curve and a rail under tension pinged out the post and walloped a ding in my head. Now at hospital to check it out. It feels like a deep hole for a fleshless area. My dads. Nz uncle told me years ago a rugby player thats fit and top of his game wont get the injures. He does what he needs to do in situations. Off form, lacking concentration or power. Bham! I know thats were i am. My sleeping pattern has been rubbish for about a month now. But if i stay at home i wouldnt sleep.
