Nuseries have been binning and burning healthy stock over the past year or so. Its a bit like mad cow disease. Instead of avoiding the mad ones avoid the lot. Alot of good trees wasted, probably some immune ones gone forever. But on the other hand the disease may of spread more, especially by less thorough establishments. To answer your question, optimistically, they can quote a price in hope of things changing.

Your gear matches some of his eh Jon? It is a tough one really as you need serial numbers and distinctive features and photos to back up your claims. If he does get him stuff back it still looks like crime is on the up on your patch. Theft then whatever retribution he gives dosent sound legal.

Thats what I didn't get. Not your average Hollywood intimidator, maybe the photo shows hes out there looking. Maybe when he chucks the last bit of his bacon buttie down, its showtime. Thats the bit that makes your hairs stand on end.

I use an old bar that the sprocket colapsed on. Just chop both ends off, round the top corners off so it doesn't snag.

We set up an account 8 years ago in NZ. Its currently dormant, but when we go again it is easy to do. NZ banks charge monthly fees if not dormant. Leave your money in uk bank and transfer when over there. We have had no probs with national bank, they are now joined with ANZ. PM if you want. We are going in December. -
I did buy a xpg a couple of months ago for £200 off ebay. If you are after ebay current values. Type in 357xpg select the power tools catagory, then when that has loaded up scroll down the left side auction buy it now etc. Clicked completed listings, items that sold are in green and unsold in red. Then do same again with 357xp. I find the xpg search works better.

I do both, they complement each other, share equipment and as said one leads to the other.

It would be a lot less hassle just to hire in as you need. Use a skip etc. HGV and O licence a big expense which some who do it full time are struggling with alongside other things of course. Last I understood just keep your gross weight under 7.5 ton

Do it at a quiet time. Sounds like a bonsai job. Park your motor on the road where it may fall that should encourage you to get it right! Joking aside I wouldn't want to bother with all the legal and regs for such a small tree. If you think you cant guarantee success, pass job on.

Nag and make you feel bad as you go about your outlaw activities. Good thing is after a while you dont care anymore and shrug it off. Just like those of ill repute that get frequent mentions in the Somebody has nicked my......... threads. And it works, the law can no longer affect you. Ignoring NPTC is the path to the dark side.

Its the monoply they assume, Microsoft did it, Apple where the underdog. I bought a macbook in 2005 which Im typing on now, breath of fresh air good reliable kit. Now they overcharge for their goods. We the consumer dont like being taken advantage of. Thankfully Im not inclined to have the latest gadget so it doesnt affect me. Look at the value of a huge saw at less than £2000 precision engineered. compared to an electronic device made of mass produced cheap components that costs the same.

It depends on the whole tree what you do with it. If its a safety issue, kids playing near it etc. It might need to come down. You only show the hole part of the tree. I would imagine being part dead means it has decay, insects have burrowed into it and the woodpecker has attacked the insects. It seems the trunk is rotten/hollowed out. The tree could live for years growing thicker and maintaining its structural strength, but being a cherry it could be suffering one of the diseases they seem to be getting these days, and on its way out. You could remove the dead and balance it out weight wise in the top or skin it up to a totem pole for wildlife habitat. I offer these suggestions which may be invalid if you show us a photo of the tree or diseased part. Have a look under cherry in the search bar to look at the threasds on diseases.
