1. A family members truck was stolen from the ash down forest area last night. Please contact the police if you see it. Crime Reference Number 472101202003. Reg plate VN07 ANR mitsubushi L200 thank you!
2. Yeah I see what you mean, a nice curved swan neck instead. I'm just wondering what the catch is with the price?! The next size up isn't much more expensive either
3. [ame] [/ame] Demo video of the small one
4. Has anyone had experience with these Wood Chippers | Garden Machinery and Construction Equipment
5. You could try Brighton compost co op at stanmer park. I haven't used them, but they're literally just on the Brighton outskirts.
6.
Hi Padman. I've been looking into the cs100 for a while. I've got one on hire monday to test it out. How much are you looking for?

7. Perfect, cheers mate. Vids coming soon then!
8. Hi,ive made a couple of videos to put onto youtube, but im worried about putting songs over the videos that i dont have permission for. I've found the free songs that youtube offer, and saw that they had 'ad supported' tracks as well, but i couldnt select them from the list. Are these tracks that you are allowed to use from itunes etc and youtube will just put ads with them Many thanks
9. Thanks, yeah I'll get some more pics, of the base etc. That's a great idea about the blue tits, definitely a worth a go solution.
10. I looked at a horse chestnut today approx 40 ft tall. the customer is under a bit of pressure as neighbours would like the tree removed. She would like to keep it,but would be happy to pollard it if possible as a compromise. The tricky bit is, I identified guignardia leaf blotch, chestnut canker and then I also popped open a pod on the leaf, which contained a small brown larvae, which I assume could be leaf miner beetle. There is a good chance I am wrong with diagnosis and will research further but assuming I'm correct with diagnosis, how serious are each of these? The leaves currently start turning brown in May. It also has a couple of these fungus as well (link below) Many thanks Forest Research - Other common pest and disease problems of horse chestnut
11. So that the wedge grafted and became part of the tree as well? Yes that's the book, only just started it but it does look very interesting.
12. just started reading a book on grafting, and this is one of the first images. it shows a trick that fruit growers either used to, or still use to create a strong union if the boughs of a tree are going to be carrying a large amount of weight. I thought this was very clever! haven't seen it done intentionally like this before unless it was for those sculptures. twist the branches until a permanent graft forms, creating a natural brace system.
13. I do 3-4 days a week gardening for regulars,as that was my original training. Then I book in probably 2-3 tree jobs a month and the same for fencing. For that very reason, I can't risk just relying on the tree work as there is so much competition. There are more gardens that need looking after than there are trees that need working on. I enjoy both sides of the business then,as the pressure of looking for big jobs is off,and the money is pretty good either way.
14. If they can be attached with an alpine, could they be attached with a fishmans bend at the end of a line?
