  1. You can hear them coming (well not anymore in the north of Scotland, they're long since rotted away)
  2. 2011? The A9 dualling started in the early 1970's, long before I was born They could make it safer without dualling it. The current sections of dual carriageway have plenty of accidents. Will it ever be done, and does it need done? Maybe they should look at ways of reducing traffic, I think it has already been proved that you can't build your way out of a traffic jam with more roads, you just get more cars.
  3. In my experience, supermarket fuel station staff have always been total jobsworths. Best avoided. "Normal" petrol stations are fine, no issues. A local one even has a red diesel pump, (but it's almost the same price as white!!)
  4. 20l plastic diesel can with a separate breather valve, and a little pouring spout. Costs about £45 or whatever but you get some free chain oil Buy chainsaw-oil-20l-mineral-by-kramp - KRAMP WWW.KRAMP.COM View chainsaw-oil-20l-mineral-by-kramp or compare with similar products from the range. Wide range of products ✓ Expert advice ✓ Fast delivery
  5. If you've got a tractor get a decent one for that. If you're splitting rings - vertical with a big table, waist high, and with some sort of log lift
  6. Are these ones linked? Less likely to be having rumpy pumpy if you're smelly, live on your own, and have to walk further for a piss afterwards?
  7. If you're going through 50-100 litres a month, is it not worthwhile getting a bulk delivery of diesel? Either red or white? Then you can use whatever containers you want (ideally the plastic oil drums 20-25l)

    Jokes???

There's always SOMEONE who upsets the peace
  9. I wonder if it was the other way round, the footballer was a man and the boss doing the kissing was a woman, would it have even been noticed?
  10. The guy "way out west" on youtube made his own branch logger, then a little railway system with cage wagons, and sidings in a polytunnel that is open at both ends, I bet that dries the wood in no time
  11. Hayter Condor is a decent enough mower, spinning discs with tips, hydrostatic drive with thumb control. 30" cut so can fit in through gateways, and wide enough to be a decent speed. A lot of the places it goes it only just fits with a fag paper to spare If I was near @doobin I would buy his scag flail, that would be a handy machine to keep on the shelf, but I can't be bothered with a 1,300 mile round trip

  13. I would think after a few minutes of running it would have the added bonus of being able to heat your lunch up on the motor body, or even on the lighter plug

  19. I reckon he replied to the sweepstake thread logged in as his "real" name. Either way he'll be loving this
  20. He hasn't been posting so much under his real username, so atleast we get a break on that front
  21. Cheers for the link to the test. I'd assumed I was a psychopath, but according to that test I'm all clear, which is amazing. I think I might celebrate by letting off some fireworks, inside an elderly care home
  22. Jeez give him some time Les, he has to copy and paste it from google.
