Round here you can get some absolute damp frost pocket midge ridden hollows, then just up the road; wind battered, sunny all day, cheeks bright red and haggard. Either way, don't piss about, build a decent log shed. A log shed is as integral to the wood burner as a chimney.

  10. I had a French family stay the night, as they left I gave the 2 wee kids a tenner between them to get a treat, but I made sure to give them a Clydesdale note so they had to spend it before they left Scotland!!
  11. If veg oil 20l drum from cash n carry/catering suppliers. If mineral oil, local small agri dealer does 20l Kramp Gopart chain oil at a good price (cheaper than you could ever get it online, delivery is the killer). Also good price on hydraulic oil
