  1. if i had typed that into google i would probably misspelt it
  2. relief valve lifting at too low a pressure and it will result in hot oil
  3. relief valves only limit hyd pressure not an overload i presume this has an extending arm on it try next time pick up a heavy log and then extend out there you go you have overloaded it. continually picking up 100% of its lift capacity will shorten its life span where as if you picked up 75% of its capacity it may last 4 times of which it has
  4. nope unless you are good at pullin spanners
  5. i do mines on a lathe with the coolant on them and use auto feed cos im lazy:thumbup:
  6. from what i can see it looksthat there is enough material thickness in that area and the casting has a small flaw in it but i would say its down to overloading
  7. remember to check the pressures on this. ballooning can be caused by pressure intensification where the viscosity of cold oil goes sky high and causes oddball failures like this due to uncontrolled pressure . did this fail after a cold spell
  8. if the motor has a case drain hose remove it and if there is an excess of oil coming thru it. that points to the rotor being worn and oil bypassing if the case drain goes thru a filter cut it open and see if there is metal inside it most final drives will have abit of metal kicking about in the oil check for chunky bits swap the hoses on the valve block to see if it transfers the problem check the pressures on relief jam a hammer in the track to get a relief valve to lift or chain the sprocket on to the chassis
  9. very shallow pockets i am a tight jock but i have an interest in building one for the workshop.
  10. has anybody got any pics or more info on these i want one
  11. i am fairly certain that they would need pressure to lift the valve. check the pressures on each service and check what they should be
  12. is the rest of the functions on the hiab working properly stick a gauge on the valve block and check the pressures as most jack legs have pilot operated check valves so theyre might not be enough pressure to lift the check valve
  13. i have a 2 cyl kubota for sale and 3 cyl also bothup for grabs
  14. get your missus to whine more this cured mines:thumbup1:
  15. i already do it keeps the wife away
  16. a bunch off hillbillys trying to fit a track on a digger and then blasting some rock with too much anfo woohoo next week one off them marries his sister
  17. avoid any type of dozer they are nothing but grief and bruised knuckles i hate them
  18. i done 2 for a cat minidigger they were absolutely ****** i bored them out and put a phozzybronze bush in them there is bound to be somebody that can turn them up there surely
  19. have the bearings collapsed in it if they have and there is enough meat around it you can get them repaired i take they are about the same size as a minidigger one
  20. look for a proper prefilter from lucas cav or fleetgaurd thats what gets fitted to most big plant and makes a lot of difference
  21. why 3" most racing landies use only 2" and they are bomb proof
  22. brilliant looks great fun cant wait to see the vid:thumbup:
  23. post a picture of the control valve and let us see it then we will have half a chance:thumbup:
