  1. If you have access to a loader tractor with a muck fork you can drive into the hedge with the fork. Lift to just above required height. Cut off with chainsaw. Then lift with loader and pile up for burning
  2. Work ok is wood is dry. Will squeeze water out and bind up if wood is wet!
  3. They trampers are great for those that can transfer into them. I use a Swiss Trac (Google and check spelling) which means I can use my own wheelchair and get the machine in the back of my car. This means I get in the country for shooting etc without always needing help. The big problem with disabled access is we are all different so you need to look how to cater for most people at once without incurring extra costs. I recently went to a boat yard with a great disabled toilet which had a step for access out of the shop hours. As a wheelchair user this meant it was impossible to use when the shop was closed
  4. I am sorry to hear about the poor treatment your mother had. I am paraplegic and work for a charity called Aspire helping people with spinal injury. If you or your mother would like any information please feel free to get in touch. There are 3 main charities for people with spinal cord injury. Aspire. SIA and the Back up Trust but unless you get into a specialist spinal injury centre you are unlikely to get the right care or to hear of the help available
  5. Yes it was hard work skinning. I have skinned roe, sika and reds before and they were a lot easier. I have no use for the skins Bluebedouin! If you want the skins you are welcome to come and take them off if I shoot any more lol.

  12. Its that time of year again. Red deer on my mate's farm. I am ready and willing to shoot some but need someone to help due to me being in wheelchair. My usual guy is busy. anyone in Lichfield/Burton on Trent area willing to come with me? Willing to recompense for your time in some way
  13. and an elevator to take the logs into the trailer!
  14. Also it is pulling cold air from the outside instead of warm air from inside. Any warm air from inside will need to be replaced by colder air from outside!
  15. I have a Titan. I like the way the chain stops the instant the trigger is released
  16. joking aside seasoned willow is good in a stove
  17. you can give it me if you can bring it all split and stacked:lol:
  18. Depending on the type of wood and how many knots a fit guy should be able to split the pieces down with a few wedges and a sledge hammer. Have a saw handy if the wood tears around any knots. This is the way lots of timber was split for gate posts or rails for fencing.
  19. An alarm for when the gate is opened?
  20. sorry. Hire walk behind! then as before
