  5. Think Paul Jenks posted one,
  6. We'll forgive you then lol, we all know councils seem to be a law to themselves when it comes to tree work, often wonder if they think BS3998 only refers to trees in private gardens subject to tpo or conservation area. Plus your cherry tree probably had more to do with getting it in last years budget. Gripe over lol
  7. Mine was a stihl 020av, back when stihl made top handled saws to last
  8. At least the client won't have to worry about the blossom this year
  9. Not sure how true it is but I heard husky have put some sort of additive in their two stroke oil and your not supposed to run their new saws on anything but their oil. Great idea for them if true, not so good for us
  10. All of it untested so high risk of buying something that doesn't actually work, been there before. At least with eBay you can complain and leave negative feedback, no comeback at all with bumblebee
  11. A & E probably, tickets to use saws but no real experience is never a good mix
  12. As the title says, looking for advice on what to spray and when. Or does anyone offer this service in Staffordshire? Cheers. Oh and napalm is not a suitable cure

Less than 2 months and the seam on my stihl hi flex has given up the ghost, has anyone tried sending them back to stihl
  18. Since when was a cs ticket a recognised arb qualification? I did the RFS cert arb in 2005, couple of ex services guys on that, course paid for as part of resettlement, they left with a arb qualification and all relevant chainsaw tickets, one day a week for academic year plus extra chainsaw training and assessment days, this would allow you to work for a firm and gain experience whilst studying, course was at merrist wood college, Guildford. Sure other colleges run same course
  19. A friend bought a 201 , he said it was gutless, so contacted stihl technical department, he said they told him he could get more power by re tuning, something to do with it having the correct emissions when it leaves factory, so basically if this is true they all need retuning and once done the emissions are above advertised levels, but you will have a saw that's actually cuts something above 3 inch. If everyone complained to stihl am sure they would have to have a re think. Since the re tune he's well happy with his saw
