  4. I do have an Alaskan mill, but no milling chain for my saw, anyone know if it works with normal chain?

  6. Saw a couple of our travelling friends today, going to adopt their attitude to ppe. Shorts and a stihl t shirt lol. Ideal for cutting up in back of transit

Tomorrow I have the joy of taking down a monkey puzzle, Have done a few before, to be expected really when I've been in the game 17 years, but they do seem few and far between especially considering so many of them are planted in small front gardens right next to the house lol, don't people know how big they get. Anyway to the point, that's if it is a point, just interested in any amusing stories or opinions on them

  18. At 37 and afternearly 20 years of climbing, yeah it takes it's toll but just can't see any reason to stop, plus experience is worth alot more than youth. If ya don't Love the job and take pride in what you do, I hear tesco have vacancies lol

    Yeah it's not good in my opinion, it's ok for bigger deadwood, teeth are to big for finer pruning work. Stick to gomtaro or zubat, or buy the one I got stuck in the shed lol

  23. Try Youngstown winter waterproof gloves, just under £20, 3 pairs sees me through a winter so don't mind paying the money
  24. That reminds me of time I was on a month long clearane job, I was the foreman of a firm in Reading about 8 years ago. Came accross a tree which was down for felling, didn't recognise it. So spent a few hours searching through the books over the weekend before identifying it as perottica persica, Persian iron wood. Went back the next week and felled it as required. Have only come accross a few since then. Time spent gaining knowledge is never wasted
