  3. Same, I’m enjoying climbing a lot more now I’m no longer a freelance climber, I will do the occasional day for someone but only if it’s nothing too gruelling, tennis elbow has really knocked my speed

  7. Pound for pound the parish magazine is easily the best advertising £100 a year and must bring in 8/9000 a year. ( I really must sit down and work it all out one day!)
  8. I’m no guru either but it’s money I wouldn’t have had if not for being on it, I could probably invest it more wisely but apathy prevents me getting to round to it!
  9. I’m on checkatrade, I feel it’s worth it, don’t think your gonna get inundated with calls (which is what I thought!), but it keeps work trickling in and they tend to be ‘good’ jobs with a decent profit margin, cost me 750 a year and probably brings in 5000

  11. No, same length but loads better than the standard cos u don’t lose half your effort to flexing
  12. Plus 1, spud fettled the exhaust on mine , it’s become my go to saw

    Broke the plastic exhaust cover on my 2511, radmore and tucker had a replacement sent to me within 4 days for £5. Great service and cheap parts

    Is a very different machine, happy to dig pdf out but not sure how much will cross over.(great chippers btw, mines been passed on but never missed a beat)

  24. Seems like a catalogue of mismanagement and errors, I ‘wing it’ on occasion but not like that, how can one of the most high profile AAAC think that any of it was acceptable?
