  5. personally i think it is a massive grey area,dont think even the ministry/police are really sure whats what.
  6. your tm is probably near the 7 ton mark as it stands,which gives you a v small payload.Agricultural vehicles are not supposed to carry a load(i know every one does it in mogs)so if you get a tug by the ministry fully laden,runnin on red and 50 miles from home they will have a field day,its happened to me!!

  13. when i say its unidentifiable i mean its 30 ft up and was not prepared to climb in todays pissing rain to have a closer look!The ash is leaning towards a new build house and has a large ish cavity developing at the base,slight die back at the top and lots of epicormic growth on the lower third,short of felling it i am gonna put in for 30%reduction and crown clean.I have never dealt with this T.O so am just seeing if this seems about right,i know its all subjective/objective!
  14. im writing out an application fr wrk to a tpo ed ash,it has quite alot of unidentifiable bracket fungus,is this always a bad sign?

    concerned about liability side of it,say i was pulling a tree over by a house and the winch fails would they pay out?
  16. i ve got a winch lorry for pulling trees about,can anyone tell me if it needs LOLER ing for insurance to be valid?if so would they go over the entire lorry or just the winch components,cheers
