  3. make an extendable tow bar that runs under chipper from original tow hitch,two sections of box section(one afew mill narrower],slide one in to other,telescopic tow bar!obviously drill matching holes through both to fix at desirable length.simple

  5. i doubt many plumbers get asked 'while your here,can you fit a hot tub',or chippies being hassled to knock up a staircase cause they finished sooner than client expects,so why does it happen to us with alarming regularity?
  6. Thats wrong in so many ways,first trading on your good reputation and then probably doin a poor job and ruining your reputation!Its not that hard to find your own work if your halfway decent.

  13. yeah,its on a newish housing estate,next to a garage,im assuming the nature loving developers have chomped straight through!im trying to find a way to preserve the tree but am thinking its terminal!
  14. hi,i went to look at a beech today,its had quite a heavy reduction in the past and now the bark has fallen off the base 2/3 of way round trunk to height of 6ft.rest of bark seems ok.thought it might have been fire damage,but owners say theyve never had one near it.any ideas of cause?cheers

  19. some daldinia and bits and bobs of dead wood,crown healthy,main concern is the heavy weighting over road,we were contracted to fell a couple of bad ones and reduce this one,but its playing on my mind!!
  20. fire wood gotta stay,gutted!about 8 ton all told.
