  7. yeah,its on a newish housing estate,next to a garage,im assuming the nature loving developers have chomped straight through!im trying to find a way to preserve the tree but am thinking its terminal!
  8. hi,i went to look at a beech today,its had quite a heavy reduction in the past and now the bark has fallen off the base 2/3 of way round trunk to height of 6ft.rest of bark seems ok.thought it might have been fire damage,but owners say theyve never had one near it.any ideas of cause?cheers

  13. some daldinia and bits and bobs of dead wood,crown healthy,main concern is the heavy weighting over road,we were contracted to fell a couple of bad ones and reduce this one,but its playing on my mind!!

  20. personally i think it is a massive grey area,dont think even the ministry/police are really sure whats what.
  21. your tm is probably near the 7 ton mark as it stands,which gives you a v small payload.Agricultural vehicles are not supposed to carry a load(i know every one does it in mogs)so if you get a tug by the ministry fully laden,runnin on red and 50 miles from home they will have a field day,its happened to me!!
