  1. didn't get one and it just tells you where to grease lol
  2. Hi there, just wondering how much grease needs to be put in the rollers on the timberwolf 150? i have greased them in the past, don't want to over grease if thats possible? but heard them a bit today..... need to know so can go put some more grease in them in next half hour ready for tomorrow. CHeers
  3. Excellent!! I was going to bid on a dumper on ebay that had a front loader on it, but was put off by someone who has a dumper and says it wouldn't have much power to drive into a pile of logs or chip??
  4. Looks good I like tinkering aswell one day it would be nice to own a little yard instead of renting one and having a tractor
  5. what sort of security do they insist on? and is that with your pli quote?
  6. Right go it sorted, and got what i invoiced for...... Just had a phone call and needs me again with my truck and my chipper 150 timberwolf. To rent a chipper would be 100-150 a day, so asking an extra 60 quid for the day and the fuel tank filled back up can't be far out can it? Just fitted new blades so will be watching what gets put in!
  7. Lets hope this isn't the case as i have a tree to look at in chorley.... i'll blag them on the phone lol
  8. Not sure, i'm booked one a one day'er at the end of march though....
  9. Thats not your motor is it craig?
  10. Its going to take a long while for the parts bin to fill up with 201t then lol
  11. i had a 1999 020t, so between 2000-2002 they must have changed to 200t's then.
  12. is that a 13hp or 9 hp? Cheers
  13. but for starting out etc and horses for courses etc your other carlton was way more expensive than these..... i'd rather buy a secondhand rayco or dosko or dan equip
  14. i presume so

    wooo i won

Lol yeah storing that lot may be a challenge, i'd store it in my bedroom so i knew where it all was, i have a trust issue
  16. thought you wanted to get better at making your cuts meet? If so practice and good technique makes better
  17. what can be done, is if you fell a tree and leave a slightly higher stump you can then do another practice gob underneath
  18. i only ask due to if just scrabble up, the extra friction around branches etc, esp on rough bark species..... ok its the same as prussic method but you body thrust then, my only thought is of the added friction when doing the over arm pulling way, if you get me? arms knackered when you get to top
  19. Where abouts in north yorkshire
  20. you can buy a good secondhand machine for that sort of money, small stump grinders go for between 1600-1800 quid, then 1800-2250 quid. missed a dosko one that went for 730 quid!! was gutted
  21. You can do the top cut first, then take slices off as you go down, don't go straight for the bottom cut to match, do a cut a bit above first, then you can see a bit better then do the final cut to meet the top cut Try it
  22. Are these the orange "rock" ones your talking about?
  23. Yup +1 on the ex army gear, thats what my climbing bag is, someone called morgan had mine lol Got one for my rigging gear too but as said the bollard is what causes problems.....
  24. Surely the apf will be the best time to buy one? then the husky out too then so can compare... my 200t inc 14" bar was 405 all in in apf 2010 good do really as sold my older 020t's and it paid for a fresh saw
  25. I've got a hitch climber but i feel like i need to tend the hitch to get it to grip the rope properly, plus i don't like the fact of holding your weight on one arm whilst you tend the line..... am going to give it another go as haven't bothered with it really but, think i'll just end up with a spiderjack so i don't have to hold my weight and tend as it will self tend with minimal sit back
