I'd go for the 150, i've used both and was sick and tired of the stress kicking in on the 125, have used another, tunnison 5" petrol, thats the same with the stress kicking in all the time, so annoying and takes longer to chip things. I'm sure my old vermeer 620i chipped better than that tunnison i used I now own a tw150, i condiser them to be "entry" level chippers to be honest, like the ford escort of the car/van world and would't have a smaller machine, or a petrol one again. Diesel, more power and cheaper fuel and yes the timberwolf website says 2 tonne for the 125 and 4 tonne for the 150

I keep a couple of truck loads and a few landscapers some for some, its advertised as mulch. But its best and easiest just to get shut where ever you can from my own experiance and circumstances

Saws of that size are donkeys, sorry not very helpful its just i've been using my 088 today and glad it only comes out once in a while lol Good luck on what ever you go for

I got offered some for 70 odd pence per litre, but they buy in bulk...... i just get a measley 25litre at a time and its 86p a litre at the local marina

Is this due to weight of chassis and "uprated" bits?

Just wondering where or who with you've done a hpi check with and some feed back on if they were any good. I thought it was just a case of putting a reg number in and away you go but i've tried on a few sites and they also want the chassis number etc.... anyone used one lately
