  1. Horrible to hear this!! Where abouts are you?
  2. Is it a 13mm nut now then?
  3. What you think of the study guide etc? I can't really seen much benefits from being a member at the moment other than the addition of the isa member sticker on the side of my truck lol also the isa has to be re done every 3 years whereas the rfs doesn't? ??
  4. Hi there Just wondering if its going to be benifical to be an isa arb memeber..... I am very interested in furthering my knowledge, with no one around here willing to give input or any help on the subject. I was thinking of either the RFS or the isa cert. I am at the beginning of the ladder in theory arb. I was looking at becoming a member with the isa to look into doing the cert exam at some point. Was looking into getting the study guide combined with the audio cd. Going for the 140.00 a year package with the 12 anually magazines. I have only been self employed for a year or so and its quiet and tough at the moment. But thought i can be furthering my knowledge during the quiet parts. Are there any other benifits from becoming a member? other than the discount on books and the member sticker and magazines? Would look into purchasing the revision book and audio cd as stated and also the "art and science of practical rigging" maybe a few others at some point. Although not sure people (customers) will value the isa cert arb round here due to amount of people doing tree work but it would be something that i would feel good about doing. Any opinions and or advice? Cheers
  5. Lol haha I've never used a husky 338xpt but was just comenting on shape I've seen one and heard it, it sounded a little micky mouse though
  6. No comments on the saw being wider? or so i thought when i looked at one, to plasticy. I talk abbout when you haven't clipped you saw to your harness and try to advance to a new position, then it gets stuck in a fork etc!! where as the husky 338xpt had a pear drop shape back end? Thought it would have been nice to produce something not so "Square" at the back end....
  7. Agree with Skyhuck here, Dick Leigh is a top man! Do you think that the saw will be a pain for getting stuck in forks etc as its got fatter at the back end and the shape doesn't seem to slope so to speak....?
  8. What kind is it etc? There's someone on here with a missing greenmech...
  9. I agree, there is a lot of difference between 3 bags and 10! also he's a local firewood chap aswell, why let him take credit for your product? Customers may say, "X" sells really good wood, and reccomend there "friend" etc to him. Maybe stick to your guns and sell, both seasoned and un seasoned at 45? depends how you want to do it
  10. Poplar i'd say
  11. Lol sorry, i posted that in agreement with you but didn't write it in
  12. The seasoned wood was green once so took the same effort to process, so why would it be cheaper! 45 quid each for the 3 seasoned (maybe less if he's a really good customer) and 40 quid each for the unseasoned. Explain gone back to normal price on the seasoned as thats how much they are, and theyre 40 quid for the unseasoned and over the 7 bags is a good discount.
  13. All my seasoned wood has gone, but i'm only small scale and its just what i bring back from jobs etc still it helps!
  14. Hell fire thats bad!
  15. I saw that one starting at 300 quid.... thought it was a bit steep myself for what it is.... didn't look at it in much detail was just put off with the starting price...
  16. Don't worry i didn't take it like that
  17. Is it just the fusing together of two? fasication?
  18. How many kids are you going to have?
  19. i'm sure it will be
  20. They're not on jonesies website anymore..... 2 dealers near me have said they cannot get anymore..... think its a bog boob to just cut them off from production if thats what they have done.... but they'll want to push the 201t now
  21. They may take a few tanks to settle in and may get better Local dealer tells me they also need to be warmed up first Good luck
  22. Just wondering what is so special about the ms200 rear handle saw? seems quite a few people have been and still are looking for them. Cheers
  23. This is interesting Driver's Licences Holders of driving licences issued before July 1996 and providing that they have Group A or if after 1990, category B, are entitled to drive a vehicle and trailer combination up to a maximum train weight of 8.25 tons. Holders of car licences issued after July 1996 can tow a 750kg unbraked trailer or if heavier trailers are towed, a vehicle and trailer combination of up to 3500 kg. Assuming that the trailer and its load are lighter than the towing vehicle. i.e. a 2000 kg. vehicle with a 1500 kg trailer. Our super lightweight Derby horse trailer that is plated at 1700 kg. and has a capacity of 1025 kg. This can be towed by an 1800kg car on a new licence or the trailer can also be plated at 1300kg if only one horse is loaded for use with lighter towing vehicles. Holders of new licences can upgrade to tow larger trailers by taking another test, B+E for trailers or a better option would be a C1 licence for 7.5 tonne vehicles which would allow them to use trailers up to 3500kg behind suitable vehicles or 750kg behind a 7.5 tonne vehicle.
  24. My old chipper
  25. Greaseable flywheel bearings you need a trailer test to tow it though because its braked
