  9. You shouldn't even need to use the de comp valve on a saw of that size, only valuable in bigger saws. Technically you push it in, pull the saw over till it fires and comp valve comes back out, then switch to fast idol and pull the starter again
  10. What would have been he action plan if you couldn't get a hoist in and still had to be dismantled? Good execution of the job though

  20. Evening all, I'm on the look out for a log splitter. Don't do a vast amount of logs as only been self employed for a year, but i hope to improve on this. All my logs are arb waste/ brought from the job. What i have for starters is, a jcb beaver hydraulic pack, and a small trailer. I want to make a towable log splitter, to take to jobs etc. I have seen a few others use hydraulic pac's to good effect I have been shown the log splitter they were using and had it in my watching list on flea bay but it has dissapeared It was a good splitter and 445 inc delivery There are also oxdale tm400's for sale at 654 inc delivery Can these be used horizontally if a chanel is made for the logs to sit into or do they always have to be used vertical? Are there any other suggestions? Thought going for the oxdale may be the better purchase as may last longer? Cheers all on any info provided Thanks Chris
