  1. That sounds awfull Hope he recovers ok. All the risks for 100-150 a day don't seem worth it when something like this pops up
  2. Checked my 200t's the other week for compression, one was 148-150 psi and the other 155-160 psi.... Are these figures ok? or is the first one a little low? cheers
  3. Don't get me wrong, i don't have loads of money, but when i looked into buying a leaf blower, for me as it is used on every job i bought a brand new one.... a stihl bg86 hand held, it was only 221 inc vat from jonesies. £221-00 for a blower that gets used on every job, everyday and will last a long time is peanuts imo, and not worth even considering 2nd hand at that price. I'm sure others would agree. If you cannot afford this then look at other makes that the sites on the right hand side of the page sell as there will be some good deals to have Good luck
  4. Haha, i was the same at the start, didn't want to use it lol. Now everything gets thrown into action straight away to get your money's worth out of it Also i'm not a shiny gadget man either.... just to clear that up
  5. anything from 180 to 250 ish i would have thought
  6. I'm tight and don't like the initial outlay i know what you mean though, you've had 3 years out of the tyres then pay out for some good ones and they'll last you well

  10. My 3.5t iveco has a train weight of 6 ton if it weights 2.5 ton, add a trailer at 500kg, then it can tow 3 ton or 2.5 ton + 750kg trailer = 3.25 ton can tow 2.75 ton Think thats ok
  11. i've gone down to subbing to one company... but theyre short of work, and say monday, then no tuesday, then no wednesday etc..... getting on my wick as i cannot plan for anything

  13. where is the majority of your work based??
  14. i've a whoopie sling, stein 2000. a 16mm pulley with a 16mm dead eye, a smaller pulley with slings etc and a old climbing rope at the moment.... not been putting big lumps on it though..... if i went 16mm i'd have to upgrade to a 19mm dead eye. i think 14mm may suffice but know 16mm would be the way forwards...... hmmmm
  15. I'm also in the same situation, looking for a new rigging rope... can't decide between the 14mm or the 16mm rope... the marlow and just run through pulleys not natural crotching..
  16. How much are they though lol??
  17. how much? its unbelieveable to up the price because they know you specifically want a 200t only and not many left.....
  18. Haha, i can listen to most music with no preference, but think that the music from the 80's and maybe 90's etc was very good compaired to todays standards..... seem's a lot more chilled and happier
