  1. I like them that's if its the model i've used which i'm sure it is.... It was johny walkers off here. Great machines and the opening/rollers a lot better than the timberwolf!! Good powerful chipper for its size!
  2. swinny

    vauxhall movano

All vehicles have a flaw somewhere or something supposidly going to go wrong with them. Have a look at different ones, test drive, find whats suited to you, buy it and be happy
  3. When you say "anyone" you make it sound like your going to get undercut and not get the contract allready lol. Not sure about the arb aproved... think its something like 500 a year basic? that what i thought i saw earlier anyhow... THough think a few people have commented that they have had some jobs through since being approved
  4. I'm in need of a rigging rope at some point.... was going to look into 16mm as i like to knock some big'ish lumps out when rigging.... will look into the 14mm rope's aswell. Is the portland braid etc miles better than the marlow?
  5. Correct Not sure just on the system to back the rear shoes off on these.... You could try to back the hand brake cable off as sometimes the rear brakes don't get adjusted properly and people just tighten the handbrake cable! Keep trying to get them off, a bar at each side of the drum. Good to give the drum a good couple of wacks with the hammer near the stud holes to see if that free's it off a bit. As said, bar at eather side and try pry it off, side to side. There is a possibility that the friction material may come away from the shoe if the lip on the drum is quite large. With the hand brake backed off, you adjust the drums back up after and then the hand brake. I also use a grinder to take the lip off the drum also
  6. yeah, i'll have a look back at some, remember seeing you'd done some vids a long time ago but now you've seem'd to stop? Looks like some well organised jobs there with all the kit to make it run smoothly

  12. Apologies, i though this was a normal thread due to others replying
  13. I certainly can't afford it, can see the benefits and can see where it would have its uses but it seems rediculously expensive. And in a time when price is everything to me and the customer, its a no go'er for me.... may try it one day though as said for confined spaces etc
  14. Just curious to see if anyone is off to the arb fest in leeds in july?
  15. I subbie climb and ground etc, but its quiet this week. When companies you work for are quiet you have to try find work elsewhere to keep going. I was going to post a thread about work but as you say there's a lot. But if you don't try you don't get. Also you can tell who are newbies or who have been about for a bit.

  20. Just get the 660 and be done with it if you can afford. its about capacity and capability.... They're not that heavy, you'll get used to it and find it a breeze after you've had a go with an 880 for a bit I prefer to get the 660 out
  21. THIS SUBJECT WAS ON TV THIS MORNING TALKING ABOUT YOUR LASS AND THE EXACT SAME PICS!!!! WELL DONE
  22. I must admit i do like colours like that although they do have different applications, as has been said plant machinery, stump grinders/chippers etc. Stands out from the crowd, yes and could possibly lessen the chance of theft
  23. i love my 064 it'd be a shame to replace it when the time comes but it'll be a 660
  24. One i use for a company is very hard to engage the chain brake, and when its on it sits very close to the exhaust.... this may be due to lack of maintenance though...
