  2. Hi there, Just wondering what the best approach would be to replanting after stump grinding, where a conifer hedge has been removed and ground, and grindings left on site. There's plenty of soil amongst the grindings. Was going to give it a while to settle, rake it level again and then plant away with a bit of compost aswell..... Is this ok? and would adding any bone meal etc be worth while? Cheers
  3. Still not heard anything about places etc... sent mine off inc cheque ages ago, Hope there isn't priority to the AA members, thought it was first come first served Hoping something will turn up in the post, or be contacted soon
  4. Remove the stubs now i'd say
  5. Thats not bad is it! A bigger deposit would lower the monthly payments wouldn't it. I don't like stuff on finance tbh but thats not at all bad
  6. Hi there everyone, What traffic control signs do you need and use? I was told the other day you need the bigger 750mm ones for 60mph roads, if you use the 600mm ones you can get told off! So what do you use? AND WHERE DO YOU GET YOURS FROM?? Cheers

  13. I need to put my day rates up then! Although some won't pay! Some offer 80-90 a day climbing round here, needless to say i don't work for them! They still do get workers though....
  14. Theyre about 5.00 a bag though arn't they? :0
  15. Think armchair arborist on here uses one also with a 30" bar on his Can't believe how much theyre going for on ebay! 300-400 quid! I must have got really lucky with mine Its cut down plenty of tree's and done a heck of a lot of ringing up!
  16. One hell of a saw imo! It always puts a smile on my face when i use mine! I use a 25" bar on it. I bought it spares or repairs for 150.00 Got it home and got it running! Put a new exhaust on it and its an absolute belter! I had to replace the front wrap handle as i broke it! but theyre really good saws, Someone told me lighter than the 066 and just a bit heavier than the 046 (not sure if its true) I love the saw and if it did ever pop its clogs i'd maybe rebuild with genuine parts oppose to aftermarket stuff!

  24. How much was the 201t if you don't mind me asking? I looked at spider jacks they were about 175inc vat. I asked one company about there,s which was 175 to see if it was inc vat. They said is it cash? I replied, no its card (debit card btw) they said well no, it's plus vat then! Don,t think I,ll ever bother with them again! Some people didn't seem bothered like you say, take it or leave it...
