  1. Is it not just a common garden spider? There seems to be gazillions of em this year.
  2. We have one. It's about a year old at a guess and there is always a scramble in the morning as to who gets the husky. Can't remember anything going wrong with it.
  3. No idea how much £ but the story chair and stools are amazing bet the kids will love sitting round em. I'd say the £750 quoted above was cheap myself.
  4. I had a cheap Ikea set of shelves that I thought was going to make ideal kindling, it was near on impossible to burn and gave a bluey flame if you could get it going. Was def dry.
  5. Looks like a top handled saw in the wrong hands, or hand. Poor sod.
  6. Do you get many parakeets? Thing is its my garden and don't really want Cd's and netting all over the place. Think I'm gonna scrap the lot and just plant some ornamentals, already done away with my veg plot so the waste of space fruit trees are prob next.
  7. Prob allot of work for not allot of meat but may go well with a knotweed shoot salad apparently. Anyone for stuffed glis glis or parakeet pie? - Telegraph
  8. Think you can cull em now if they're a pest, doubt if I'd have much of an impact on the population round here though. I can hear them squawk as I type
  9. So now the eaters are pretty much all gone the poxy flying green turds have started on the Bramley. Need to chop in my lazy old Tom cat and get a couple of sprightly kittens I think. But that's for another thread.
  10. We bought a Garmin for a recent holiday to France and had a bit of bother getting the address in correctly, ended up texting a friend for the address and using the iphone from then on. I always use it when quoting here and find google maps easier than apple which always takes me to the states. Stick to the phone I say.
  11. I've always used Skymasters and am very comfortable on them but there is a similar version with an adjustable stabilizer for uneven ground which look handy. No link for them I'm afraid Skymaster & Combination Ladders
  12. Did you get 10 years from the original engine? That seems darn good to me, we've just had a new engine our old one and its like a new machine unsurprisingly.
  13. How are people finding after service with husky? Ours have all gone to our local dealer for repairs so far and the turnaround has been rubbish, they're excuse being that they have to order parts from their head office who then order from husky, with the service manager claiming husky wont deal with him direct let alone the end user. I have good reason to believe he's a slacker feeding me BS but wondered what others experiences were.
  14. What retired first him or the old Volvo he was very pleased with?
  15. Do you have a link for the tyres ? Mind you ours might be so full of tyre weld now they're impossible to puncture.
  16. Does it come with those tires or have they been changed?
  17. Easy on any regularly trimmed hedge regardless of species.
  18. Nice to see them using one sided cutters. Showing where they come into their own, sweeping the cuttings off as they go.
  19. Ta for the suggestions so far, How do they feel in the hands these skinny ropes? Isn't there one that feels fatter than it is?
  20. Ta Anymore?
  21. You play it down the phone, into the mouth piece and get a text back giving you the track details, I'm going back a few years so doubt your phones too old Just not sure if the service is still there Shazam I think it's called No fancy phone needed
  22. Think if you dial. 2580 on your mobile and play it down your phone you get the name and artist, used to work any way.
  23. What's the best one to get pls, haven't got a thin one. Or does it not make much difference once your under 12 mm
  24. If the rains set for the day its ex army goretex for me, not perfect but keep the worst out, prob not the best for a nimble young climber but fine for a middle aged plodder like me. Think they cost me £70 bout 6 yr ago top and bottoms so not bad value as still going strong. If you only wear a jacket your trousers get wet double quick..
