  1. I think Andy Collins used to use no bounce/ dead shot hammers. Personally I just use the back of an axe.
  2. Think its probably an X torque he is after so he can turn it into a 372, rather than a special but I could be wrong.
  3. IIRC Mitsubishi Shogun, in previous thread on Near Death Experience, there was a discussion on hitch height as it cannot be adjusted on these. It looked low at the front rather than level.

    Hobbies

Don't give it up, it's not good to stop once you've started.
  5. It was sulphur, why let the facts spoil a good story. In the 80's and 90's as sulphur emissions dropped, fertiliser for Oil seed rape crops had it added as crops were getting deficient, due to the reducing acid rain.
  6. IIRC 560 uses small bar mount. 562 uses the larger bar mount, same as 572 etc.
  7. The lead or tar spot?
  8. Clean air more tar spot, polluted air appears to suppress it a bit, bring back lead in petrol.
  9. Less of it about in polluted areas.
  10. You can do a lot with 560/562 and 18/20". 500i good but thirsty.
  11. That's a good result but not a good result if you know what I mean, could have told you before you had your sale.
  12. I use a CT foot ascender and HAAS set up, the teeth are designed to separate and grip the fibres without undue wear, yes you will get some wear but the benefits outweigh the disadvantages. When the rope wears buy a new one. Yes we all started on prussics and blakes but we have moved onto more advanced techniques, you will too in time, due to the increased efficiency they give and nobody can resist shiny shiny new kit.
  13. Sensible chap, got a Jack Russel the same, no fear.
  14. Maxi flex has a memory for kinks.
  15. I would assume Andy that it was not any better than no filter at all unless it is a turbo in disguise.

    Prusik cord..

Personally I use thinner accessory cord with a 11mm rope. As for using 10mm, give it a go at low level , if it grips keep it, if it doesn't change for thinner. Your hardly going to plunge to your death..... if your only 2ft off the ground trying it.
  17. That's why you have a double hernia, Hero.......
  18. Agree found cutting hedge tops with a pole trimmer all day the worst, wrecks your shoulders. So stopped doing it.
