  3. Are you having a play with the mill then? Or are you going to use the timber afterward's for something? just remember when you mill through that crack (pic 5 30 degree ish) that that plank will split in half as it drys out. I assume its too small to quater mill?

  9. Glad i put got told:lol: Shame really, although i've never seen one large enough to hang a normal person from... Made me imagine judas was a midget:laugh1:
  10. Bonus schemes cause nothing but grief! i worked for a multi-million pound company that gave you an extra 10% on your days wage if you cleared your daily quota by 3 trees, if you did 2 over your quota you got nout. Well we worked like dogs for weeks and cleared our quota by 4 trees per day to get well we can't pay you that as you'd be on more than your manager. We had to get our union involved for the 3 of us to get what only added up to a few hundred quid each. Evidently we were than asked/told not to exceed our quotas for the day. Although running my own company if the subby has and easy day they get normal pay, if they have a hard day i pay a bit more (normally ivy's involved). Just my experiance of bonus schemes.
  11. And the katsura leaves are much bigger too?? The British name i got told was from the time of the bible as 'judas' hung himself from this tree species.

  15. AS far as i know everyone is camping on/near the site. its actually friday 4th, 5th, 6th
  16. Just drop a letter to all the companies near you. Pm me your details and if i hear of anyone hiring i'll pass your name on. Why do an appreticship? lower pay? just get a job with a company and pick up skills/confidence as you go. Your about to finish college so imo no need to drop yourself into an appreticship category as you probably should of been doing that as you did the course. Trev will point you in the right direction if you ask him.
