So a question for all here, but i guess especially dealers and spud,,,oh and any mower gods! mother has a petrol mower that she is finding difficult to start, guess age catching up on her! so looking for alternatives. retrofit battery start kit - new battery start model - electric model that isnt useless. needs to be rotary, must collect and its not a huge lawn, no more than 8 x 8 metres. and yep you guessed it, price is key! cheers all

  14. Hey Guss, I am in banchory. I see that strathbogie sell it, must give them a phone to see about prices where are you? Davie
  15. just out of curiosity can you tell me where nearest stockist is in scotland, aberdeenshire? After a miserable time using a vibro plate today i may make the switch in my own kit for firewood and hedges. Edit to add the plate was burning oil like you wouldnt belive from a hire company, definetly not a pleasant job
  16. 300 tdi 90, run on veg oil in the summer and then diesel in winter. stick on some bgg muds and 2 inch lift using terrafirma expedition big bore shocks. perfect for in the woods. make it more comfy and fun with a heated front screen and heated seat kit. happy days.
  17. mine does same so interested in this
  18. had one on my td5 90 replaced in 54 thousand miles. get greased every 2 - 3 months.
  19. Hey predator, You are doing a great thing helping those folks and its definetly worth doing. Really good for the self esteem to feel like you have done a good deed for the week. Take care Davie
  20. coverking ones - brilliant. i once left sunroof on a disco open and came back to find a puddle on seat cover, none had gone through. dont use anything else and a very good price. machine washable and chuck in the tumble dryer. every landy i have had i used them
  21. Alex, Can you ask the red cross trainer to provide a source for that info please, would be very interested in where they get info from. David Edit to add - on the celox
  22. filling stations 18 miles away been manic all day, will look out window with interest tommorow to see what local tesco is like but betting the silly que tonight it be even worse. this is one of the few rare moments i wish i had my old 200 or 300 tdi landys to run on pretty much anything including veg oil. Just cause i cant afford to be off the road with idiots panic buying until after the 6th.
  23. Hey Jon, Hate to imagine what it cost to fill 110 tonight, my 90 was a lil on empty - guess 2 days running on warning does that lol. Although now know it goes further into red than i thought.... £88 to fill, thats most i have ever put in. £200 in last week on fuel between landy, log splitter and saw, its getting frightening. apparently local garages went mad tonight with panic buying so bet we all out tommorow.
  24. Been making an effort to make sure i eat more meats last few months, mix of bison and venison. Meals are so good and if you havent tried bison before then i truly recommend it as a very lean red meat. Scottish Bison i am just a happy customer of theirs. Oh and the venison came from Mar Lodge Estate, national trust for scotland through Sheridans butchers in Ballater, once again just a happy customer.
  25. i have to add if it hadnt been for a lil oops at jonesies (which justin fixed with amazing service) i would have had a 346 so yeah you are definetly in right direction
