have a similar one in the shed about 15 years old and has split a lot of wood some you have to turn round into a different position to get them to split i also have a push log to save it having to travel too far before it starts pushing the log onto the wedge as its a bit slow the bits that wont split i cut into thick disks so they will go in the stove
