  1. i would have been out of there quick its a good job his dog stayed on top of the root plate and not dived under
  2. still raining here local whether station is saying 35mm but no floods other the odd bit of road where the gullies are blocked up. i looked at the Stonehaven harbor web cam earlier and they were getting a right battering. a plane has slid off the runway at Leeds Bradford airport which has shut the airport

    i do believe that the land they compulsory purchased is still going to be held by the government so it is leaving a lot of homeowners with houses they cannot sell
  7. part of the problem is that Ukraine weaponry is based on the eastern bloc standards which is a different caliber to Nato weaponry and Nato has been trying to source it from all over the world and so has the kremlin and them stocks are low
  8. if hs2 had started at Manchester end first working towards London i don't think it would have been terminated at Birmingham
  9. my truck failed the mot on the trailer socket not functioning properly they just cleaned it out and passed it.
  10. somewhere at the back of my mind at the planning and costing phase for hs2 there was a top chap who resigned saying it could not be done at the price the government were saying just to get it approved through parliament.

  14. Wind turbines are not that great for the environment as they are killing thousands of birds both on and offshore. a hypothetical question if everyone goes onto ground source heat pumps will it start cooling the earth?

  21. these workers are getting paid at least the minimum wage plus bonuses accommodation on site spend little of their wages in the Nabour hood so they are not on penne's in the pound. if they are getting bussed in there will be a gang Marster who no doubt be taking a cut of there wages and transport costs
