  1. so youve possibly just murdered the last remaining healthy euc in the country? shame on you:sneaky2:
  2. coincidently ive been watching the euc in my neighbours garden, a decent sized co dominant. it started with a small area at the lower part of the tree and i suspected frost damage, then gradually it started systematically affecting the whole tree over recent months. a good 90 % + has been affected now and i'm thinking 'silver leaf'. either way its looking like the tree wont be pulling back now.
  3. a bit premature there ady but nice try mate. the sad truth is by this time next year some jobsworth would of seen reasoning in it and made it so.
  4. close call, glad noone got hurt. any ideas what started her off?
  5. glad you got off lightly. i witnessed a similar incident once but the bloke was luckily untouched, though in his pannick he threw the can into a 9 meter waste bay full of dry fencing waste, as if this wasnt bad enough he then tried throwing water on it to put it out!! edit: i just read that you made a trail and wernt stupid enough to tip fuel onto the flames like my mate. lol
  6. prefarably when all the berries have been eaten, boy theyre messy!
  7. who ever mr x may be thank you very much. what a selfless gesture and a fine example of the genourosity shown by all who have supported the cause. although ive stayed pretty silent on this thread, because ive not wanted to appear self promoting, i have kept a close eye on everyone who has bidded, won, donated and commented. forgive me for being perhaps soppy but from the bottom of my heart i truly am humbled by the support and genourosity from everyone. when mick said he was going to auction off some trousers and odd bits to help me and my family out i dont think either of us expected to get such a response, and this really is a testament to the community arbtalk has inspired. at the risk of this starting to sound like an oscar acception speech i will round up by extending a further thanks to steve for giving the support of the forum and to mick for all his efforts and time and commitment to organize and run everything. ever grateful, dave.
