Hi all, i want to get some decent hand tools ie bowsaw, loppers, pruners but need some advice on what brands to look for. I would sooner pay out for something decent thats going to last than "buy cheap buy twice"! any advice apreciated, thanks

  10. nice to see the use of ear defenders there, you can never be too careful:scared1:
  11. looks like a good contender for norway maple (acer platanoides)
  12. not tryin to knock your mechanic friend but have you tried filling the engine back up with oil then starting it. if the knocking stops then it is more than likely just an oil leak and could be as simple as a split hose, perished sump gasket, loose sump nut etc. loosing all the oil from your engine will cause it to knock. would hate for you to have to spend out all that money for the sake of a two a penny part. hope this is of some help.
  13. did you find out exactly what was wrong?
  14. has been a nice day here today but yesterday was like a typhoon!
  15. have seen an 020 cut and a silky cut. 2-3 inch 020 cut on back of leg hardly even bled, but half inch silky cut on knuckle soaked glove in blood!
  16. a few more pics from this morning
  17. cheers Mick, same thing happened to me, will give you a bell.
