  1. 'It's me Bren gun, innit'.
  2. You forgot the 'previously enjoyed' bit.
  3. Then it didn't happen
  4. Fun casino croupier (more enjoyable than the 20 yrs I spent working as a real casino croupier).
  5. Anybody know how the law is applied in Canada? I know there is some common ground with the UK legal system but I don't know how far the comparison goes.
  6. See if it's a common fuse. Bulbs don't normally all go at the same time so fuse would be my first place to check.
  7. Seasonal site or fair?
  8. What have you got most of on the horizon? Big wood or rigging jobs?
  9. You need a hi-viz for that.
  10. She doesn't need to get her own pig(s). If she contacts her local Smallholders' Association, they will be only too keen to help her out by grazing their pigs there for the time it will take to clear the acorns IME.
  11. Weren't some dealers putting a different sprocket on before selling them to avoid this?
  12. Are you sure they aren't just going to give him your invoice for him to pay? Make sure your invoice is made out to the management company, making it their bill and not his, as it might save you a long wait for your money, assuming your t&c's mention payment in a fixed time.
  13. Thanks! I'll have a poke around on Westlaw or Lexis.
  14. Very good point. Easy to be tripped up by that in the early days. I would also say that the price you put on this job will follow you through any recommendations you get from it so don't price yourself too low.
  15. Given that paid holidays in an employment (ie not self-employed) contract is a statutory entitlement set out in the EU Directive on Working Time 1998, requiring all employees to have four weeks paid leave over each year, what was their reason for this?
  16. Have you got a citation for that? I'd be interested to read the reasoning.
  17. Got one that only gets used for strimming, nothing heavier duty.
  18. Zero hours contract?
  19. It's worth the same as a cube of split seasoned Ash. Your overheads, assuming you are asking as a producer and not a buyer, are exactly the same. Edit; Just make sure that whoever is buying it knows it is unseasoned.
  20. Whenever I see the pictures of the famous people that my employer has met, Mandela is always the one that makes me think 'I wish had I been there that day'. An incredible statesman and a great inspiration. Rest in peace, Madiba, your long walk is done.
  21. Just to rub it in.
