  1. our first truck was an LDV. 2.4 banana transit engine and box Best truck i've owned..... Got an '04 crewcab transit as well now and its not a patch on the LDV Ok..its quieter, faster, and more economical, but still not a patch on the LDV or 'P i key Bus' as its known localy. Had a new clutch and cable when we first got her, other than that, nothing... Gets serviced every 3000 miles....and abused most days. If LDV hadn't gone bust, put two doors on their crewcab, and a faster engine. i'd have had one in a shot.

  3. Hi all, Looking to buy our first yard machine Can't decide what'd be best to get Got about £3.5k....maybe go to 4.5k Want it initially to load crates of logs onto the truck Do we go for an old tractor loader, then we can get trailers, splitters processors etc as cash flow allows Or maybe a teleporter, Or maybe a skid steer, then we can get attachments at a later date if we buy either of the last two, when we eventually buy a processor, we'd only have to buy a standard tractor, because we'd have the lifting machine ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????? HELP

  21. you need to be sponsered by a link up approved co. to get your pts. any company you go to work for will put you through it. but....as said earlier, its crap work, we did it for 3 years....its very crap work.... cscs, take it. once you've got it, you've got it forever. we do a fair bit of site clearence work, and finding local subbies with cscs is a nightmare. not helped by the fact that ASDA won't hand their sites over on time... GRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!
