  2. the stretch air ventilations are really nice, really light and fit good. seem tough enough too. they come up quite big though so i'd suggest going a size down from normal, im a 32" waist and i wear small. i think theres a size guide on honeys website too if it helps
  3. that looks like a really good trip gibbon! thanks for sharing, what was the main idea behind the project?

  12. yep, mine does that too, i always have to give it a bit of a tighten especially for the big saw like you say. its a good harness though so i don't mind too much but it can get a bit annoying.

    AP break test

nice vid dak, and as can be seen, good splicing!!
  17. Thanks mate! The op was a funny one, the first one i did i rushed and was not happy with it at all, i had to fight it every step and the eye ended up quite baggy so i cut it off and did another one and it came together lovely, the final bury was the easiest i've done so far. I havnt done the other end yet but i'm thinking of just splicing a stopper in there like the end of a ropeguide but a stopper will do for now. theres just not enough time and skin on my hands to make all the things i want to!
  18. hope its cool to stick this in this thread but im just learning and getting used to splicing and this is my first project. im happy with it but i know shes not perfect, il move the whipping on the ap nearer the throat next time as advised by dak but all in im happy. love finally making my own stuff! all advice and criticism welcome, cheers!
  19. I've been asked to price a job for a friends mum in bow. Its not much, reducing a conifer hedge and possibly a bit of a tidy up in a small garden. i don't think its anywhere near a days work for 2 guys and It would work out far too expensive for me to go and do it so if anybody is local too it and would like to go and have a look send me a pm and il get back to you. cheers. Geoff
  20. Awesome couple of vids! that was a serious split on the euc. nice one for posting!
  21. same as that, and i remember cutting my finger too. taught me to be more careful! i think it's an important stepping stone to using bigger, sharper stuff.
  22. hope you get better, that sounds horrible, good luck
