  1. when you say wear quick is that in a couple of months or a bit longer and is that wearing every day? slippery in the wet could be a problem with all this constant rain we're having!!
  2. just wondering if any one is using the gronell tango boots and if they'd rate them over scarpa pro ascents? any feedback and pros/cons for both would be helpful, thanks!
  3. only been using it a little while but im happy with it. i use a v.t with hitchclimber and i reckon it will get better as the rope wears in. really nice line to use.
  4. do you work with a female climber by any chance squirrel?!
  5. that would be some serious advertising space too!
  6. if anybody owns a crane and a circus tent there's money to be made there!
  7. not really sure why but i always enjoy working in big open grown horse chestnuts. good fun to run around.
  8. i just get my groundsman to stick our special umbrella top on the poles and follow me round the tree.
  9. the plastic rivets always snap too and you end up having to redrill them and put pullcord or new string through. also, as has been said at least two cones are needed if it's at all windy, otherwise you spend half the job watching them blow over or down the road.
  10. if you can get hold of a sainsbury's bag for life, one of the foldable ones that pop together then they work well on the cheap. they even fold out so the line runs smooth and you get lots of funny looks from customers and co-workers!

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
