    does it cause much damage to the tree? or do you only really use when its not an issue like felling?
  2. probably worth posting this on treebuzz too if you havnt already. lot more people seem to be working the tree single line that side of the water.nice diagrams by the way!

  4. make sure the groundie knows not to pull up the lowering line until youve got hold of it . . . watching it sail to the top of the tree when youve just got out on that awkward limb is not fun!

  6. a good mate of mine skated until he was about 20 or so then gave it up. after much persuasion he got another board at 30 and now regularly gets out on it and loves it. if he's not at a skatepark he's at his allotment though so i guess that evens it out!
  7. if i knew how and could be bothered you'd have some seriously good bmx vids coming your way . . but i cant. haha. you not skate anymore then frank? also dont tell anyone but some of the stuff in that vid was actually really really good.

  10. steve, i still do that sort of thing home made ramps are the best, get pallet theiving! its been a lifesaver this winter
  11. what a find mate! i ride bmx, dont skate but a lot of friends do. looks like a good spot, what area is it?
  12. from basingstoke, how about yourself? yeah theres a couple more riders on here, met one of them before i even realised he was on here. treework makes your riding suffer though!

  18. my right boot is tighter than the left too. i found not lacing them up as tight as normal boots made them loads comfier, they do give a bit after a few wet days though
  19. my clark jacket turned up today, fits perfect! couple of extras in there too so massive thanks to yvonne/clarks, steve and everyone involved. thanks!

  24. really sorry to hear your sad news. my dad was very recently put in hospital after being kicked at work (he works with mentally ill young adults) which they think caused a problem with a bloodclot. it was a scary couple of days. just got to take as much care as you can i guess, hope your ok as can be
