  1. went there last year, drove route one from corona through to just under oregon stopping at loads of places including alcatraz and the avenue of the giants. every bit was amazing but the trees were so good! id go again in an instant but i would LOVE the chance to climb one next time. also had to drive the whole way back in one day, nearly 800 miles!

  3. it was definitely a really good day and a really fun comp! well done rhys and everyone else who took part and thanks to everyone who made it happen. i agree about the m25, 2 extra hours to get home, rubbish!! geoff

  5. the workshop and band/party would be good and on site camping is always good too. i think more info leading up to the event would be helpful to allow people to make plans for it. alternatively, fancy dress would make for a brilliant event!

  10. just a quick one,does anybody know if non locking krabs (ie. rock climbing quick draw) are allowed as the attachment point between rescuer and casualty in the arial rescue event at the isa comps? not sure if they have to be three way as theyre potentially load bearing. cheers for any answers

  20. i see what you mean with the treemotion attachments, makes sense now! so do you ascend up the rope then push the ascender up as you go rather than using it to climb as part of the system?
  21. nice set up, do the two karabiners from the croll attach to your side d's? if so is it just more stable than clipping into the main bridge on your harness or is there another reason? also do you find a single hand ascender ok or do you think itd be easier with a doubled? sorry for so many questions, just starting to play around with SRT, so many options!!
