  1. I aint no mog fan but the new ones are pretty cool, wish i was going now.
  2. My log splitter was probably the best investment ive made, with an axe you spend most of yer time chasing the log your cutting all over the yard, and like someone said on chest nut oak syc etc its ok with an axe but throw a bit of semi seasoned monterey into the mix,and you need a splitter.
  3. Thats the one, looks a good bit of kit, well made, and if your right on the price good value.
  4. Ive been looking at a Pto driven log splitter made by Mid cork metalworks,it looks a realy good bit of kit takes bigger logs than the usual ones, has anyone on here got one or used one and if so what price do they run at ive tried to email them but it dosnt seem to work, probably me im crapp with Pc,s.
  5. Just started to pick up down here in Cornwall,i deliverd a load this morning and ended up giving my number to three other people, right place right time for once, but im still praying for snow early.
  6. Yep i agree but it makes you wonder whats going on in her head, and does she have any mirrors in her house, whod want to look like that.
  7. Try the utility companys sillvanas etc, sounds like you have a decent CV good luck.
  8. In 04 i would have, now id buy her a burger, poor girl realy realy sad,all that talent and no self control.
  9. That did not fill me with confidence.
  10. That would definately get my juices flowing Mike thats a lovely truck.
  11. Sorry Tom i hate cars and driving but if i could have a fast car i would have the escort they looked pretty cool and they go up in price every year,i would also have a chevvy stepside pickup or a 67 mustang, but id swap the lot for the busa.
  12. Got to be a Hyabusa full power in corona colours,or a cosworth escort.
  13. Im busiest from october through to march, then it tales off.
  14. Id want some serious wages to even contemplate that, brave guy ,watched some blokes painting pylons yesterday they dont hang about.
  15. Much ado about nothing.
  16. Were over run down here at the moment with people setting up log buissnesses ,and the prices are up and down like a whores drawers,i dont sell by the dumpey bag but if i did id charge 50 quid, the same as i charge for half a load, its getting so comptetive that unless the woods given to you or you cut it yourself its hard to make a living, cordwood used to be good but the profit margins arent big enough, anymore im seriously thinking about making this season my last, its a shame cause ive been doing it for 4 years,im just waiting to see what happens when winter realy starts, will these cheap skates be able to meet the demand, hopefully we on the other hand have have about 200 tons ready to go,so roll on winter.
  17. Ive used berlingos and c15s but the best i found was the transit connect, its just that bit better at everything it does, you can fit lots of kit in em and they still do good mpg,the berlingo i found was just a bit too small.
  18. A couple spring to mind Touch me Pipes, and Splatridden spring to mind.
  19. Wow thats unbelievable.
  20. The lads at a local firm have both but they prefer the tw 150,theyve all said though that given the choice they would buy Premiers every time.
  21. just proves my point that not all fruit is good for you.
  22. Get well soon Bob .
  23. Another good one is the Tanaka strimmer, they have bags of power, the firm i used to work for went over to echo gear and i heard no complaints,i use a kawasaki had it for 7 years now id put it against any stihl strimmer any day i really dont rate them theres not much adjusment handlewise on them and they go through fuel like a fat kid eating cake.
  24. Are they as tight fitting as they look in the stihl catalogue,i recon theyll be good though stihl dont get it wrong very often.
  25. The customer can get them cut for free as a request,i know that wont make you any money, but youll still be alive it might be called LV but it will kill you stone dead in a heart beat, your local power firm the people who put poles up etc will have all the answers,if you aint sure dont touch em ive seen the pictures when we did our courses it aint pretty.
