  8. As long as food and beer are cheaper than the arb show im your man,have you looked at the gravely on ebay.

Do you have your own supply of firewood ie local estates or woodland management etc if you have it could be viable,if you have to buy in it may not be so profitable hardwood down here is 42 pound plus vat per meter delivered,so youll have to shift alot to make it pay,also anything you buy now will need a good while to dry out,so in a nutshell its a good idea but it takes a bit of planning but have a go whats the worse that can happen cheers DB.

  12. Euroforest charge 42 plus vat per meter,and i believe at roadside its usualy cheaper,if i lived closer id buy all youve got.
  13. Cheers tom i didnt know there was anyone down here supplying blades,they might have to wait for now as ive just bought a tractor,good buy but i hate spending money.

Cheers tom,they were like razors but the lad we had grounding through a load of landey through along with a good amount of blue alvin road stone,what a muppet im going to phone around on monday and get a new set sent down,i know she dont look much,but shes been a brilliant little chipper,simple to work on etc,id have another one tomorrow.
  15. its alive shes been welded and alls good,thanks to tommer and combined trees,nice to have friends,with welders cheers chaps.
  16. its been welded before,and ive used it for 3 years the bearings are fine,i keep it well greased,like sky huck said your only putting back what was there to start with.
  17. Guard her with yer life Tom shes special,and remember mines the green one,i dont want dave coming home with a yellow one,by the way i didnt paint the rims,that was down to our childish,climber but cheers for your help mate.

  19. Very nice ,just thought id see if anybodys got one,we could cannabalise,and keep mine going for longer,did you see the pics of the TW190 on here that could have been nasty,cheers bri.

My Gravely Wood chipper started to rattle yesterday,on closer inspection i discovered that the veins on the fly wheel,have cracked along the weld,in fairness its been repaired before and not very well,so i was wondering does any body on here know of someone who has such a chipper for spares or mabe a fly wheel that they could sell me,any help would be appreciated cheers DB.
