  3. Shes a beut we worked a big one in a cemetary not as tall as yours but had more canopy and this one was in first class condition, heavy stuff and horrible to chip.
  4. I did figure the same Tom like i said i would have a landey as they hold their money, parts are cheap and theres always the cult thing with a landey.keep your eyes and ears open for any cheap utility landeys that may or may not come onto the market in the future.
  5. My brain would tell me to buy the 130 cause they hold their price better, navaras are comfy and better mpg but i heard somewhere that Nissan were rebuilding bottom ends outside of warranty, that would concern me a bit also the navara is a plastikey ,landeys a bit more hardcore, rumour down here is that wetern power are fazing out their landey fleet and replacing them with rangers due to reliability issues with their landeys.
  6. Funny the Police have the same affect on me.
  7. Its difficult to judge a thing when you dont know the reasons behind them but regardless i wouldnt pick a fight with someone that old out of respect, but it was america, tell about biting off more than you can chew.

  13. before you go off on one, weve seen trees die suddenly down here but weve had a hell of a winter and long dry spells, which our trees are not used too,id take all this in account before passing out blame, but do give your trees a good look over, ive heard that salt can kill trees off if enough is forced into it cheers hope you sort it and welcome to arb talk.

  16. OK 20 roof tiles,1 velux window,a rotary clothes line and a tv ariel,oh and some guttering.bloody good day that.
  17. Simply brilliant FAF.
  18. Its also found in the cheap German import the forester i spoke to reckoned its been here visible for 5 years at least, this all reeks of the foot and mouth saga that Defra blew out of proportion.
  19. You cant argue about the price of the BnQ model though, down here Warrier Wearhouse and Trago Mills, shift more wood burners than anyone else, because there cheaper by miles, theyve got some pretty abstract models but it dont put any one off buying them.
  20. Never drink mushroom tea whilst standing on a soap box.
  21. Silly thread or not its a good read.
  22. Spikes to rescue someone is a different matter alltogether, weve got a chap climbing with us at present he will climb anything never wears spikes and hardly ever uses a strop,he has bugger all kit in his bag and dont even own a thro bag,but hes one of the best climbers i have seen,he makes an impossible job look easy,my point is if you need to use spikes to prune a tree then mabe treework aint your bag,if this offends im sorry but its just my point of view cheers DB.
  23. My tippers broke.
  24. I think that if i dared to don a pair of spikes to prune a tree i would be down the road the same day,and quite rightly.
