  1. Thanks, was a bit of a messy tree realy,a fair bit had been hacked off low in the canopy,so I hacked off a fair bit higher up!
  2. Not the best, but an ugly tree to start, the client insisted it be done as he has other projects in the vicinity. I tried to get some shape back into the thing as it was all growing one way,(the way he did not want it to go) Anyway not proud of it,but what do you think... 5. Iv'e used this for years now, anything below minus 1 celcius & a certain apendages of mine remain a good few inches higher than usual.
  6. Yes,its a very interesting & educational contribution here.
  7. Nice to have a client who can apreciate value for money, its a tough trade we are in,both on your wallet & your body,& takes a certain type of character to pull it off year in year out. The lady sounds a darling, bless her.
  8. Nice looking little tractor,,hope the thumb isn't too saw.
  9. Sounds like the saw has bedded in & reduced the enginges friction, could just want the tickover lowered,or maybe a tweek on the H & L screws, then tickover lowered,if you dont know how to do these take the saw back to the dealer for a tune up,dont mess with the H screw if you are unfamiliar with them or you could damage the saw.
  10. Ouch, hope that gets better soonest, nasty accident.
  11. No,Felix, but he didn't want me in the truck when the job was done!
  12. Great video,& impressive work there, not your average footage & that makes it a very good watch for me. Nice climbing too.
  13. Condensation/water in the mewps tank,so it conked out,oh well no worries, out comes the absail bag, down I go..& land awkward on a bit of brash, let myself down a bit more & end up with dog mess as my new best mate all up one leg.
  14. Heathen!
  15. The quick tensioner should not be a problem,Its not sprung, just works a big cog wheel instead of a screw tread like a traditional tension device,so you can adjust the tension of the chain to suit youself if you want.
  16. I would check out the chain speed, might not be fast enough for the job, just a thought.
  17. What a fantastic tree!
  18. Hiya Adam, looking forward to your input here, sounds like it will be interesting.
  19. My thoughts exactly when I saw the vid! Nicely dealt with but what a horrid looking lump to deal with.
  20. They fascinate me too Mark. & before he starts, Felix the chopper that is,NO DONT!
  21. Got through to HB this evening,as no mobile reception on site today, they will phone me in the morning (saturday),& let me know for sure when to expect your new boots. I like Stephen blairs list idea, cool one.
  22. Thats horrible,ruining a man's work.
  23. I have a Samsung GT B2100 Solid Extreme ,superb fairly basic phone, tough as anything Ive had ,& Iv'e had it in my beer glass ringing a few times just to watch it make bubbles. Very good work phone imo.
  24. Couple of bannanas for me,one with my two cups of tea,the other on the way to work. I'm not that hungry in the mornings, but you have to run on something.

    346 or 550?

Only had my 346 for just under a year, but the saw is lovely,& has proved itself completely reliable under hard work.
