  1. Thanks guys, think it will be the gekos, probably stick to ally, its a material I understand, bit worried the carbons might get knocked about in the truck.
  2. Pics 1,2 & 6 looks like you could take 40% out of the height at a push if they want it hard, the others are a bit sparse on growth low down,so maybe 30% off the green canopy. Pic5 looks like it could cope with a 40 % total height reduction too. Just my opinion, will be interested to see what others think,so take no notice of my thoughts. Maybe less if we get a good drought as in my area.
  3. Your safe mate, the crab would not get past Hadrians wall without severe postal disruption,or even industrial action.
  4. Ok I have been using my Buckingham shin busters for too long,& as my bones show more due to age & neglect, let alone these thin material C.S. trousers & boots we get nowadays, what are the best ish spikes out there. I want an enclosed solid shin support for my bony pins,& a good hold in the wood when working,Getting a lot of spike work at the moment & fed up with low end kit in this area. Dont Want carbon super sonics, just a very good ally setup that gives good support with skinny legs.
  5. Well with a post like that you will not get the tread locked,But to prove my resolve PM me your adress & you WILL get the crab.
  6. Wow, What do you have for lunch! For breakfast I do favour the top slice of bread, the crust, with butter & honey, but Butler has got me thinking.
  7. Yep must do some of that myself,& maybe just camp there the night, felixthe chopper knows my field, its a great place to just sit & listen to the evening with gentle a fire.
  8. well I'm in,my prize for the winner..the man that gets the thread locked after doing nothing wrong,no mod intervention,(thats cheating),will be either a frozen crab (may defrost on route), or a sparkling silky saw. Up the prizes as we go along?
  9. Anyone had first hand experience with cellox on a major bleed? Didn't it save a climbers life a couple of months back when he cut his neck, seem to remember this on the news.
  10. Thats an interesting take on it Alec. From where I sit,(low on the knowledge ladder),it kind of makes sense.

  20. Seems that way. There's good & bad in all walks of life,& to manipulate this fact to discredit the good is,erm...manipulation,which creates a weak argument imo. I respect any faith,or lack of it!
