I also sent a similar letter whilst the sale was running, seems the seller & ebay dont care.
  2. Good enough lunge, but the dodgy face fluff realy detracts from the performance in my opinion.
  3. Ouch, thats a bad outcome,I was hoping that 'us old ones' were going to get proved right for once:001_rolleyes: Thing is theres Agg running an Allen scythe on aspen...& me just running on borrowed time.

If that was sold after being reported a couple of times it raises my eye at the platform that lists these sales.
  5. Thats my opinion too,& if it helps with our security then thats all the more reason.
  6. We are showing our age on this thread Alec.
  7. Well that narrows it down a bit, Anyone I see starting a fire with aspen would get the sack on the spot. But the aspen 4 works well in my zippo.
  8. He may be lurking here as we speak, wonder which of our Mick's on here he chose as his character.

    So did I.
  10. I would be rather reluctant to use sailing kit for climbing when perfectly good & aproved climbing specific kit is available, using your climb kit for lowering is a no no too, call me a stick in the mud,but I'm alive & intend to stay that way for a while.
  11. Thats right Tom,thats what made me think the timing was out,(retarded),has the same white smoke.
  12. Yep they were not the best on wet roads, good in the mud though!

  14. I had a few sets of those SAT's over the years.
  15. Could be an ecu or cable conection fault if its electronicaly controlled injection, but thats just a guess as its beyond my knowledge level, hope you get it fixed quick & cheap, let us know how you get on with it too.
  16. Sounds a bit like it could be the head gasket,or pump timing.
  17. I have had good results with the duffus trap over the years, heres a link. Tunnel Type Mole Trap
  18. Sounds a great oportunity, wish I was in a position to have a shot at this.
  19. Its ok,I use the dremmel on the mutts teeth,by the time I have half of em sharp he is ready for the kill!
  20. It is a slightly different world now for the youngsters,we have new ways of comunicating, with immediacy,& an overwhelming obligation to fit in,( mobiles & facebook etc),a famine of work potential, disaffected parents,& a softness in the schools. The throw off from this is out there to be seen,& the kids that are victim to this can become intoxicated by their plight to the extent that they become everything that we resent, then you get your 'hangers on' who think its cool to follow the bad ones. Not too long and you have a new sub-culture with their own rules,no respect for their surroundings,(people & property),the catalyst is the dealers in drugs & weapons who thrive on it & get the easy ride. But at the end of it,some will be as hard as you can get, some just sheep. When I was young I was one of those (few) who were on a mission of self destruct,we kept fit, boxed etc,but were out for as much quality trouble as we could rightously find,I stopped all that through loving a lass, mates got shot etc, banged up,it was all a great big laugh at the time, even to the extent of it being funny as one at a time your mates fell victim to one thing or another. I dont know that it is different now, other than more infectious to the youngsters due to the coms that we never had & they do have in this time.
  21. Well heres a couple of pics of my versatile groundy at work over my field, being trained to use a digger,(this is the £1100 machine I jumped at a couple of days ago). P3301422 by geoff321, on Flickr shk9 by geoff321, on Flickr shd by geoff321, on Flickr
