  1. Normaly a few on e bay,it might fetch £100,but not desirable to those in the know.
  2. Vibratory old thing, not the best of the old stihl saws, but fun all the same.
  3. Interesting post this,I use aspen in all my hand held kit. A reasonable sized take down, say a days work, might involve using from 5 to 10 litres,a generous alowance I think. Now the price difference between pump premix & aspen will be at most £10/20 on said job,If I am charging the client a most reasonable £450 for the task,I will have to charge between 2 & 4% more than the pump fuel user. Felling & clearing will be more,(but that is not my core work load). On these figures,(derived by myself I admit),which are an exageration of the cost difference,I think we can compete as aspen users,& in fact many do. Personaly I dont realy notice the extra cost, but I'm thick skinned & dull in the head, It would be interesting to hear how other aspen users feel on this.
  4. Its not upside down on my screen, but I nicked the pic to invert it for you; photo%25204 by geoff321, on Flickr
  5. Spot on.
  6. Oh my poor old limp wrists sure I will get used to it.
  7. I use aspen in all my hand held equipment,it is expensive, but what price your health, the saws seem to run very well on it,& no worries it I leave the 3120 in the shed for a couple of months & then expect it to slog its guts out with a long bar,or my spare top handle to sit idle then spring into life.
  8. Pm me a price on it spud,if you want to sell the 345.

    What next??

Best way to use the knot guide is to sit down with a bit of rope & tie the knots, helps learn them faster,& they stick in your head that way.
  10. Thanks Spud, got a nice run of pop chogging waiting for it,after a gentle start of course.

    What next??

Save some money & read up on here, loads to learn on the forum, try the knot guide & fungi directory for starters.
  12. Erm,yes,I can see how that might be the hardest part..
  13. Was that my 200t Spud? looks good inside!
  14. Yes,the 2t is for 2 strokes,& 4t for the four strokes. The little saws will do your job,but if you spend a bit more you will not regret in in the long run,in my opinion.
  15. The stihl & husky will both be reliable,I would use aspen fuel as sugested or you will be liable to fuel problems, but for what its worth get a larger saw to make sure it can handle the larger pieces, those tiny domestic saws wont like dealing with regular cutting on stuff much over 8 inches, something like the stihl ms250 would be a very good reasonably priced saw. Try F.R. jones, for a good price.
  16. No feedback score, selling for a mate,& a lifted pic of the wrong chipper = dodgy to me.
  17. That screw loose is a known problem with the G9,but does not affect the later G series, pain in the pixels though.
  18. I agree.
  19. I had a fair old front end hit in a landy a few years back,it was not something I would chose to go through again, but the other car was a right old mess,I dont think the defender is designed to look after us mere mortals in an impact.
  20. Good stuff mate, was a lovely day here too!

    Topping Fail

The cutter blew the hinge, simples. With the side lean he should have bitten off smaller sections too.
  22. Me too,belting camera.
  23. Stunning work indeed!
  24. good point there on the pictures Huck,I ought soon to use arbtrader,as I am having a kit reshuffle.
  25. Sorry Predator, I was having a bit of a banter with Felixthe chopper, bit of a derail by me giving his leg a pull.
