  3. Nope, look on your plate & it will tell you the train weight, axle weights,(front & back),GVW is the gross weight of vehicle & contents, excluding trailer.
  4. Well Ive ordered one at a good price,so when I get the kit & use it I will report back on it. After a lot of online surfing it seems to get a good write up,so £400 later I will find out!

  9. Nice post Alec, thats a saw to enjoy using.
  10. Spot on,I have had a few conversations with Predator,he is a good man, just responding to a bad environment that he finds himself in,takes time to adapt & move forward when your whole system suffers a major shock.
  11. Damn & blast,my lovely family have got there before me,none left. Button to you I raise my glass of orange juice, whilst making a bananna butty, without brown sauce, argh,I was so looking forward to that late night snack. Rest well mate,& wish you all the best.
  12. 'BACON BUTTIE'S' , right I'm off to raid the fridge in covert mode.
  13. Come on Felix,a bit more help needed here, post a demo pic my man.
  14. Good stuff Mark,& a fine looking lass you have there, takes me back years to when my daughter was just young.
  15. Thats a shocker, hope it all comes right asap for you, loosing sight must be a big one to deal with mate, very frightening. When I was a kid I picked up a dud firework & it went off in my face, couldnt open my eyes & ended up with a couple of days with no vision, what I remember now is how it enhanced my other senses, you know, hearing, touch, smell ,& air movement around you. Focus on them & get yourself well.:001_smile:
  16. I would sack him on the spot,& let him know that any more calls will result in more stringent measures.
  17. At no point did I say I could do it..but well done for trying Mark!

    Man flu

Good stuff, plenty of water & echinacea tablets, with all the garlic you can inflict on those around you.
  19. :biggrin:NO IT WAS NOT,(and you can keep your head down too Mr Bollam)! best i go to bed before I offer you youngsters a challenge you cant win,but heres one to try NOW. ,can you get your foot behind your head,A can you punch break a light bulb without it swinging on its flex after. Have some respect for us olduns,we might be cantakerous, numb in the extremeties, half blind & incontinent when you least expect it,but we are still sensitive to the truth. Anyway, knowing what Spike is like I would have had it cut split & stacked for a good strong cuppa!
  20. Good on the old boy. 1. he aint worried about going for a bit of rough justice:thumbup1: 2' he obviously bullied you into giving him the wood:001_rolleyes: 3, ya liked the old boy for it:biggrin: I love old people like this, they dont give a damn for all the modern pc crap, they just get going in ther own old way. Nice post mate, bet you loved it:001_smile:
  21. Thats right about the hinge,it will be all but useless if the eucs wewll dead, work small & if you have to hinge out a piece thats a bit larger than you would want give the gob cut a wide face where it forms the hinge,( so the two gob cuts are not meeting at the hinge & you have to create a flat face of hinge between these two,cut into the sides of the hinge a touch to stop it from tearing down & opening up down the trunk ( making the hinge the week point),& back cut so its level with the top of the wide hinge face. all this aiming to cut the gob so it closes with the removed top near horizontal,it will tear the hinge if it holds that far,& you get time to chase it once the section is going the right way.
  22. Not had one go on my td5 in 3 or four years since I had it,only greased them a couple of times too:blushing: My 300 did knock out a couple in that time, but I used to wade the 300 frequently,(ford by my field). Thing is I wont wade the td5 as its always towing,& the tipping pump is mouted on the chassis. If your uj is warm through use & you wade it in nice muddy water, the cooling effect of the water on the uj,(& axles for that matter),will cause them to suck in water, this can be a reason for early failure.
  23. Thats a nice reduction,top work.
  24. Hi again Paul,I do get to work in the area sometimes,& have a tip site in hafield peverel,But if you want some chip if I'm in your area it could come in handy for me,what locations have you? I contract to the chelmer & navigation from time to time,& schools in chelmsford,on large works I can end up with more than I can get in a load back to my site,so let me know if interested. Geoff.
  25. I could do it one evening late next week,if someone else has pm ed you give them first shot at it,as I have plenty on & they may be glad of it.
