  1. ditto, thats nice work, the slack chain saves the bar nose? I have seen other carvers with chains a bit on the saggy side.
  2. Good solid company with a great delivery time.
  3. Thats a shame Tinlid, some folk seem to say the same as you, others love them, maybe theres a batch problem,be interesting to see any outcome.
  4. Seems like a good tune of the H &L screws by an experienced chainsaw tec will get the 201 performing well, worth a thought.
  5. Hey Welshclimber, nice mutts,& that patterdale is a clever one balancing the basket on iits head..
  6. Thanks, was going to offer my services, but too far the other side of the tunnel. Good luck in your request by the way.
  7. & all of them polite & informative, beats my shonky record..
  8. Where in Kent are you mate?
  9. I try to be as polite as possible, even if it gets repetitive,If people enter a taped off work zone a slightly sharper response is liable to follow after establishing what their intent is. It can be a pain to keep on explaining yourself, but these are people trying,in general to look after & show an interest in their environment, thats fair, professional & can drum up more work.
  10. Thats harsh,I hope you get up & running soonest,& wish these thieves would just curl up & die.
  11. Twenty grand will get you going with decent enough kit unless you want a landy tipper, thirty would be a nice setup.
  12. I think there could be an air leak then, hope not Spud & the crew will no doubt be along to give you words of wisdom on this one.

Will do mate, just want to check that I am being fair to us both.
  14. First thing to check,is it set on the winter setting, this can stop carb icing problems. (small metal plate on right hand side of engine/carb case).

I will sort out a price & pm you in the next day or so,but its a fresh saw on its first chain, just does not have the same go as my ms200 rh. I think it could do with a 12inch bar as it came with a 15 inch & that is too long imo.
  16. Nail on the head:biggrin:
  17. Fraid so,stoped in the local farm shop a bit later & told a very nice lass in there about it,she asked my advise about her horse trailer doing the same thing to herself, the only answer that came to mind was to tell her that if it did happen to her she should give me a call!

I have a 339 xp,very fresh, maybe 5 tank fulls gone through it,it is not a top handle obviously, but let me know if you want it.
  19. Wet hand this morning after a bath, got frozen to the tow hitch of my ifor wiliams after dragging it out of my yard, only one way to stop the frost grip on my hand, roll up my jumper arm & unzip me trousers for the emergency defrost tool. I'm glad I always have it with me.
  20. Thanks mate,I have 2 200t's at the moment,so I will hang on for a while.
  21. Hey,breaking down in your jeep is a good thing mate, you have to let the pain out,& that is doing it. Its not feeling sorry for yourself, its clearing out the overload of emotion, dont matter if you cry, howl at the moon,or piss on your feet,it will help clear your mind. So good on you!
  22. Thats a rip snorting truck,love the sound:thumbup1:
  23. Your right Huck, the 200 is way ahead of the rest,I like the little echo for light pruning as it a smaller saw body, much lighter,& easier to one hand dare I say. Cuts at about half the speed of a 200 on four inch stuff, but much the same on anything under a couple of inches.
  24. Have a look at the echo top handles,I use the 260tes,& it great for light pruning up to 3 or4 inch,& good in retoping connies, the next size up looks nice too,I will get one before too long.
  25. Just a question, have you tried the 201t yet? Some very experienced climbers have & rate them.
