  1. as above TFR works treat , also try using a steam cleaner
  2. ha ha , she will never know , come to think of that the side caseing , recoil housing and airfilter on my ms200 could go in at the same time , that would maake good use of the water and dishwasher tablet !!!!!
  3. i usually use a toothbruck to clean the straps on my stein and simply buy a hygeen kit to sort the rest lol . but im going to try the new dishwasher when the other half is out !!
  4. was your lecturer speaking from purely an arboricultural point of view or a risk and amenity point of view as well ? there are many situations in which a reduction is doing some good to a tree - for instance a large multi stem'd tree with a week union that is showing signs of potential failure would benifit frm a reduction rather than a fell !!!! but i guss realy depends on what exactly your lecturer meant by reductions not being good for trees
  5. either two slings with a dmm revolver on each sling or a length of friction cord with a fishermans on either end with a dmm revolver on each end - doth systems work quite well and have several other uses .
  6. We did a similar job on some street trees when i was in devon - we found that using elastick (from a sewing shop) to tie round the branches and the cable ties from the elastic to the lights was probably the best way at the time . the good thing about the elastick is that over 5 years it tends to perrish and not cause the tree any bother
  7. Hard to put a value on something in a picture , i bought my Kreg U1600 for £17500 about 18 months ago , mind you i would have to add another 0 to that figure to even come close to getting something like Huck has got .
  8. i have had similar happen to me when using a Distle . on the funy side i once tried the Knut - i tied it wronly and only found out hwne i was i fir way up and decided to stop thrutching up lmao - on the pluss side my rappid decent did not nelt the OP !!!!
  9. My thoughts are with you , i could not begin to think what it would be like not having any of my thre springer around . keep your chin up and remember the good times .
  10. feed rolers still playing up tommer ? . have you got a pressure test kit ?
  11. To be perfectly honest i cant see how the heat pad does not make and difference in how hot the trousers get - clearly it does - it does not allow heat throught the trouser thus meaning it does not let too much heat out either . they look like a good pair of trousers but im happy with my stretch air glads and cant see me changing for a while now
  12. so does anyone know of and snow ploughs for sale ?? im keen to convert one for the front of our mog but im having a right old time finding a decent plough !
  13. John if you wanna have a look at a crane fed TP or Schiles give me a shout as we have at least one of them working on some of our jobs over the next couple weeks
  14. Hmmmm im currently hoping to secure purchase of a 9" ducker for my mog . HMMMMMM
  15. fair enough , i thought that the 2 part flywheel made a big difference when chipping bigger timber , if i remember right the reason for the 2 part flywheel was because a standard single flywheel would twist in the rotor housing when chipping to capacity . But then you learn something new every day . How do you rate the Front mount Schiesling Dave ?
  16. maybe have a look at a TP - they seem to about as good as it gets really , how much use do you have for it John ?
  17. the problem is not just strengthening the hitch and tow bar - you would also need to investigate the swl of the tow hitch on your truck .
  18. depends how you take the picture
  19. i did notice that the ground clearence on the hyd tank and cooler was not that great , im sure in less demanding conditions it would be an amazing tool though
  20. my only tip would be - if its not broken dont fix it !! it really is far to easy to try nd fix something or improve something that is not broken or that works perfectly well . Often trying to fix or improve something thats not broken only masks the reall issues and thing that do need fixing
  21. so sad , i hope they catch the person . thoughts are with the poor girl and her family at such a life changing and traumatic time
  22. ssssshhhhhhh , im trying to keep that quiet
  23. It Had To be a landrover driver making such comments
