  1. There is no vent in the cap. I've put a new carb on with new gaskets. Put a new fuel filter and new tank vent on. I've checked the fuel likes and they are clean, with no leaks. The blower will rev up from cold, then the revs just slowly die off. If I open the fuel cap, then the thing runs ok. I'm wondering if the new fuel vent is faulty. Am I missing something else.
  2. I took a look at the fuel cap but could not find a vent in it. Is there one in a bg85?
  3. Ok, I've got a bg85 blower. Had it years now. It will only run properly with the petrol cap unscrewed. I've changed the tank vent, checked the fuel lines to the carb. These are all clear. Replaced the fuel filter, and replaced the carb, and it's still got the problem. Any one any suggestions?
  4. Never removed and replaced a tank vent before. Blower only works with fuel cap open, so presume it's the vent. Have replaced with new carb. So how do you remove the vent?
  5. The Yorkshire dales is a bit remote, but I wouldn't want to move anywhere else
  6. Will be watching when I can. What great entertainment. Would rather watch darts than football nowadays.
  7. Windy and raining in the dales. This has been the worst couple of months I can remember for rain. Sick of it
  8. I Heard that if you but fresh meat, you can request free bags, as meat has to be in a bag for health and safety reasons. Just meat though, if you put a packet of sweets in the bag, they can charge. Heard of an old chap, who's wife had caused uproar in her local supermarket about being charged for having just meat in a bag
  9. This is utterly heartbreaking. When will the law clamp down on the scum who steal from others??? It's time that when caught and proved guilty, they should be sentenced to hard labour. I really mean that. This country's too soft on criminals. It doesn't matter what your own personal circumstances are. It's no excuse if your unemployed or on benefits. If I was in charge, I'd sentence them to hard labour, take away any assets, stop their benefits, and give them food vouchers to exist on. Thieving scum.
  10. Really like my sip innovation. Just bought a spare pair. Most comfortable and light trousers I've had
  11. Hiax blue ridge are a decent boot. I'm on my third or fourth pair.
  12. [/url Not sure if this link will work, but the video is taken today from where the third photo was taken
  13. This was taken this morning, and the rains got heavier.
  14. Well, I'm a bit old fashioned, but his "M bite redirect" I could do just as well using both ends of my climbing rope and a couple of prusiks. Or am I missing something ???
  15. It's been wet and windy all day monday, Tuesday, wednesday. Sick of it. thursday was no wind, only rain.
  16. Anyone (whatever nationality or religion) who emigrates to this country and breaks our laws, should be deported ASAP. Simple as that.
  17. I think you'll find that tonka63 is the new manufacturer of protipper
  18. Total madness. The drivers a Nutter, stressed out and likely to have a stroke or a heart attack at any moment. The migrants are mostly young men, desperate for a better life over here. Already too many people in this country. Sooner we leave the eu the better.
  19. I need 4x4 constantly, I have a club cab at the moment. A club cab tipper would be ideal for me. I think it depends a lot on your circumstances. A transit for me would be next to useless.
